Was looking through pictures for a project and came across this. Last custom project completed before moving - glad I quickly snapped a few pictures to remember it. Ambrosia is so beautiful 💛

Officially putting a pause on things until we’re settled in our new home! Don’t forget to follow my new account @val_ventures_ to see the journey 🚙🗺⛰
I try to generate as little waste as possible and am always trying to find uses for larger project cut offs. Here is just one of those uses - Tap the photo to see what’s available 🌿
These reusable wine stoppers are great for recorking bottles at dinner parties, in your restaurant, or simply in your home!
Finished up some wine bottle stoppers last week. Click the link in my profile to check them out 👆🏻

Made a video to better show the texture. This was after they came fresh out of their oil bath 🛀
Had a lot of fun making these textured items. I don’t think I’m done quite yet. Between the beautiful way the textured markings reflect light and my fingers thanking me for not having to sand that small space - I think I’ll do a lot more projects like these!
New favorite! Love watching the light shimmer and dance off its faceted exterior ✨
First time finishing a spoon with texture. Love watching the way it interacts with light ✨
All smiles this weekend with the sun and blue skies (at Adirondack Mountains)
Ambrosia details. Love this wood! How do you think it compares to the spalted maple?
On the knifes edge trail after summiting Katahdin 〰 We had 4 days of no cell phone service forcing us to be disconnected from social media and what wasn't immediately in front of us. I often feel overwhelmed between trying to remember to post, share stories, posting frequently enough to keep people interested in my adventures... It was refreshing knowing there was absolutely no way to feed into the social media game. In all honesty, I was disappointed when we were in service again. I felt like I could see right through these channels and how they keep sucking you back in. If you feel overwhelmed trying to keep up on here - I highly recommend keeping your phone at home for at least one of your weekends spent out camping or hiking. You might enjoy where you are in that moment a little bit more 💙 (at Knife's Edge - Mt. Katahdin)
Making mini water tornados 🌀 (at Tupper Lake, New York)
Just standing next to some river art (at Raquette River)
Adk dreamin' as usual. I remember we only had plans to do some trout fishing this day. Then we decided, hey, why not climb that mountain right there. Those are usually the best memories 💙 (at Adirondack Mountains)
