Suomen nuorten jääkiekkomaajoukkueen edesottamuksia tiistaina MM-finaalissa seurasi todellinen jättiyleisö. Jo aiemmin Yle kertoi, että parhaimmillaan ottelua seurasi 2,407 miljoonaa suomalaista. Keskikatsojamäärä oli huimat 1,964 miljoonaa. - Tällaisia katsojamääriä ei suomalaisella televisiolla ole ollut miesmuistiin. Esimerkiksi miesten jääkiekon loppuottelujen tai yleisurheilun MM-kisojen luvut eivät ole yltäneet samaan. Lähimmäksi tämänkaltaista tv-ilmiötä on noussut Ylen Linnan juhlat -lähetys tänä vuonna, Yle kertoo.
