Okay but Ovi getting pushed to make another speech about the thing he just accomplished that no one else in the NHL has ever done and being all, "Yeah okay but it sucks that Stromer didn't get an assist on that milestone one. Let's get him one tomorrow!" Like. Even if this is the last year of it, in the twilight of Ovi's career, right now Stromer is Ovi's Guy. Dylan Strome, who just wanted to be wanted, is currently The Guy of the NHL's all time leading goal scorer, and the first one Ovi singled out as part of his ongoing legacy (and the one Ovi asked if he'd remembered to grab Ovi's puck lol)

And I just think that's nice, you know?
