If this company represents the government, well, I don't ever believe that they consider what's good for the many/society hence why this is so off-putting to me. The government serves their own self interest from what I've seen in my time on this earth lmao.

If he said the company kills for their own greed/benefit', this would be more believable for me, I think. This is why this bit confuses me lol.

Hikagoop being "exposed" without his consent this chapter is the most on your face metaphor I've ever seen.

Iori getting "institutionalized" for being disabled is another one.

The same for Hikagoop getting sent away for being a "monster", Yoshiki getting invalidated and being told to be normal by a "concerned citizen".

I was taken aback honestly after reading this past chapters how direct the story has gotten since I mostly read for the "supernatural/horror" aspect of the story (shipping aside of course).
