I been thinking a bit about daniel's life post season 6 and how he seems in karate kid legends so here is some of the thoughts:
I remember the gap between one and the other was at least a year or two.
the miyagi-do dojo is still functional and the fiasco of the 2019 all valley dojo has been reversed. without silver buying the ref, miyagi-do would had won, so miyagi-do is an all valley champion.
he and johnny still have joined classes, however, each one have their own dojo (unless its storm's johnny who remains miyagi-do or we plot it out).
the dojo in Legends seems to be more clean and set up like it was when Miyagi lived there. which feeds my delusional heart of divorced Daniel and him living in the Dojo as I have him since season three. He lives there on an anexus he helped built and Miyagi's old room as been turn into a shrine to his old sensei where he goes to meditate and train by himself.
mari's tory is very much a miyagi-do by how much we have interacted and plotted. as I play robby too, I have robby as a sensei in miyagi-do after his tour as a karate star era and winning tournaments.
he gives a roof to both tory, her brother and robby (he understands robby relationship with johnny will always be sour), and he had grown to care for tory as a daughter.
the dojo looks more traditional to okinawa as it did in earlier seasons and in the movies as he redecorated and chozen helped.
daniel as a sensei has competed in some tournaments for adults and senseis and has won one. this was simply out of pleasure as we know our boy loves to compete.
while still the name on LaRusso Dealerships, he no longer works there and dedicates himself full time as a Sensei. Amanda now works as the face of the dealership and by Daniel's idea, the dealership helps someone get finantial help to study karate at any valley dojo, specially miyagi-do.
he returned to okinawa to visit sam there and reunited with kumiko.
