“Ahh, that’s more like it. The recognition I deserve. Let me guess, you want to establish peaceful contact with this ghost, don’t you? Therefore, I suggest you first knock on your wardrobe door and talk to it before we break out the candles.”
“Just knock on it? Are you suggesting that my wardrobe might be some kind of front door to the afterlife?”
“Hmph. Good luck taking care of that ghost on your own then if it’s going to be like that.”
“What? No, Leo....Come back, please? I can’t do this without you.”
“Corrin….you beautiful tropical fish, do I look like someone to carelessly set a whole camp on fire during an attempt to contact the spirit that may be haunting your wardrobe now? Do I?”
“.....Is that a trick question?”
“Not with that attitude we won’t! Look, do you want to sleep with a wooing ghost in your room? If not, then something has to be done with it. All we need are some candles and something to draw on the ground with for starters.”
“Leo, I’m not sure that’s the best idea. Haven’t you ever heard of the Dark Mage that dabbled in this kind of thing? He ended up setting his whole camp on fire. I don’t think this is something you want to do.”
“Thankfully, no. In this case it would be best for us to take care of this ourselves. I fear that if I got my retainers to do this task, Niles might try to say something sleazy to whatever is hiding in your room and Odin would either curse your wardrobe or destroy your room. I wish their skills could be applied to things like this rather than…erm…niche tasks. Therefore, you and I are going to do some ghost hunting…or whatever kind of hunting.”
“Us?! Ghost Hunters?! Leo, we had a hard time just catching a mouse. You really think you and I are capable of catching and containing the spirit of the undead?”
“Would I lie about hearing something? Regardless of your jokes, it’s clear to me that there’s something unexplained going on inside your tree house.You know what this means, don’t you?”
“Please tell me you’re not going to hire your retainers to take care of the problem? Last time we used them for problem solving, we had to rebuild the mess hall entirely.”
“There’s no ghost? Then…what was making the woooing noise? I heard it at several intervals during the night! You’re not keeping an owl in your wardrobe, are you?”
“What? I was seriously just joking around about that. But did you really hear something? Are you sure you weren’t just imaging things? I didn’t think my tree house would be haunted. I mean, what spirit would be haunting it?”
“I did sleep rather well. Your bed is quite comfortable, I must say. Although, I was woken up several times last night thanks to a ‘wooo oooooo’ noise coming from your wardrobe. Is that normal?”
“Very funny, Leo. I get it, you’re making fun of what I said yesterday. There’s no ghost.”
“So, Leo, how did you sleep last night? Well I hope.”
“Yes, yes I will–”
“Hold on, ghost? A ghost in your wardrobe? Ha, ha, very funny, Corrin. A very nice joke indeed, but I’m not a afraid of the dead.”
“That usually works when I want to keep Kana away from my stuff.”
“Oh, that’s good. That courage will certainly come in handy later tonight then.”
“Not really…I’m not very fond of hunting…we can always troubleshoot it. Maybe with luck we can catch something!”
“Okay, luck, right. Uh, that’s a good place to start. I do know how to set up box traps, if that’s any help. I guess we can make larger ones for birds and deer?”
“You mean it? I get to sleep in your wonderful bed? I…I…thank you, Corrin. I’ll treasure this offer forever. Perhaps it is just what I need to help me get over this issue today.”
“Yes, have a good night sleep. Just watch out for the ghost in my wardrobe.”
“Me? Chill? I’ll have you know the only chill I have is my personal Ice Blade. I’d perhaps be willing to have a little more chill if you were to keep today’s incident only between us and and let me hang out in your chambers for a bit. What? Your bed is comfortable and the red blanket is rather warm.”
“That escalated quickly, didn’t it? Alright, Leo. This will remain just between us. Tell you what, why don’t you sleep in my tree house tonight and I’ll take your bed? You can enjoy my red blanket all you want then.”
“Rrrrrrrghhhhh! Fine! You win.”
Leo stands up from the ground.
“Let’s go home and get this day over with.”
“Leo, honestly no one cares about your mistakes as much as you do. Maybe you should chill out for once.”
“Oh, oh no. Don’t you dare, Corrin. Don’t even think about doing that.”
“Now, now, Leo. You said ‘make me’! I’m just doing what you asked. Now let’s get a move on!”
“Make me.”
“Alright, but I can’t be held responsible for the reaction everyone will have when I drag the young prince of Nohr by his feet back to the castle.”
“Really? Hm…thank you. I appreciate the sentiment, but I’ve made up my mind. Good night.”
And thus, Leo lays down on the ground and closes his eyes. Time for sleep.
“Leo, seriously, get up.....”
