punk being a brand new professor at the city's superhero academy. an aging hero himself, he returned to titan city to not only help out a place that has seen a steep decline in heroes over the past couple of years, but to also pay it forward to the next generation and train the next era of heroes - ensuring the city will be safe for the foreseeable future. his rebellious and cynical nature has faded with age, replaced with a mellowed out demeanor, although do not mistake that for complacency, because punk is still a defiant and stubborn old man. he justs now wears a blazer over his band shirts and jeans during class. meanwhile cody rhodes has returned to titan city after a self exile to take over his father's industrial company, turning it into a technological giant. armed with this company, newfound wealth, a strong sense of justice and duty, cody becomes a vigilante - determined to protect titan city. like punk, cody is defiant and bold. however, he's also emotional and often acts without restraint. that very same trait caused him to run away from his home and family. perhaps with the external perfection he exudes, lies a child still trying to live up to the legend of his father. punk and cody both want to protect titan city, even though they have different ideas of going about it. regardless, they both realize that they need each other if they stand a chance at bringing down a crime syndicate that has spread its influence into city hall.
