- We’ve only just entered the month of October and I got to say right now that 2020 has been one hell of a year We barely got to enjoy the new school year before COVID hit us and we had to stay at home to work from home and teach from home. Then when we were all allowed to come back to work, we were only allowed to receive certain groups of children. By the time we had all the kids back, we had already lost about three months of good and proper classroom learning time. By the time everything and everyone settled, another term went by and we entered the final term. You’d think that’s it right? Wrong. On top with trying to catch up on lost time, I get unforeseen circumstances affecting the little big things such as working with difficult and unreasonable parents and having students missing out on a lot of class time. Just thinking about it makes my soul weary and it’s hanging by a thread. I swear, one more blow and my soul may just leave my body and fly back home on its own without me..
