Ingredients: 1 box of your favorite cake mix. 1 cup of frosting flavor of your choice. 1 package of candy melts assorted colors. Lollipop sticks. Sprinkles and decorative toppings.
Instructions: Bake the cake as directed on the package, then allow it to cool fully. In a large bowl, crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs. Mix the frosting thoroughly with the cake crumbs after adding it. The mixture needs to be sufficiently wet to roll into balls. Form tiny portions of the mixture into balls of cake that are bite-sized by scooping them out. In a bowl that is safe to be placed in the microwave, melt the candy in 30-second increments, stirring after each to ensure smoothness. Each lollipop stick should have its tip dipped in melted candy before being inserted into the cake ball. This will aid in holding the stick firmly in place. Ensure that every cake ball is fully coated by dipping it into the melted candy. Let the excess fall off. While the candy coating is still wet, place the coated cake pops on a tray lined with parchment paper and garnish with sprinkles and other toppings. Let the cake pops set fully before assembling or storing.
