Higher Quality Default Replacements for TS3 Headline Effects (Scream, Speech, and Thought Bubbles)
I’ve always liked including headline effects in my gameplay screenshots (with 1950s Thornton and Morgana Wolff as an example), but the low quality of the bubbles bothered me. So I made higher quality default replacements for TS3 headline effects! I used the original headline effects as a reference and recreated them as accurately as I could in Adobe Illustrator. They’ve been upsized as well: scream_pointer, speech_balloon, speech_balloon2, thought_balloon, and thought_balloon2 bubbles increased from 128x128 to 256x256 (2x), while thought_balloonLead was increased from 32x32 to 96x96 (3x).
Please let me know if you have any issues! I’m new to creating CC.

I already made some custom clouds a while ago, but I felt like they could be improved. Today I tried it again and since I’m very pleased with the result I’ve decided to share them with you :)
Download: Nilxis_RealisticClouds.rar
It’s compatible with all lightning mods (as long as they don’t include other custom clouds). Only the Base Game is required.
This is what the EA clouds look like for comparison.
Note: You might need to enable “advanced rendering” if the clouds don’t show up in your game.
Use them any way you want, and feel free to modify them too :) Soon I will probably release some more of Uranesia’s edits, such as the lightning files, recolors and textures.
Enjoy!
(None of the images above are edited, this is exactly the way it looks in the game.)
This mod changes the way lights are laid out in CAS. The overall lighting is becoming more even and smooth now, and your sims will look closer to the original textures (e.g. their skin).
Compatibility
✔Work fine on game version 1.67/1.69 and base-game compatible.
✔Compatible with any other CAS camera/animation edit mod and world lighting mod.
✖Conflict with any mod that edits CustomLightRigging.ini.

Thanks to @simbouquet for finding the exact file related to CAS lighting so that I can make it work^^This is something I've been wanting to o for a long time.

Here's a minuscule mod, inspired by TS3 beta footage, that changes the perspective of Sim and pet thumbnails in-game, making them appear at a front view instead of a 3/4 angle. 📐
This mod contains some edits to the INI files that control the camera positioning the game uses for generating thumbnails. These edits affect all Sims and all pets, including dogs, cats, horses, deer and racoons. The changes can be seen across various game modes, such as the Sim Bin in CAS, the Live Mode HUD, the notifications panel, the Online Dating App, the adoption screen, and more.
The mod comes with some caveats due to how the game stores thumbnails, so please read the rest of the post carefully.
Updating Game Thumbnails
Because the game stores Sim thumbnails inside save files, the game will not regenerate new thumbnails right away. To speed up the process, I recommend using Onebeld's Regul Save Cleaner to wipe the Sim portraits in your save and allow the game to regenerate new thumbnails the next time it's loaded.
Some EA premade Sims' thumbnails may resist regenerating even after following the above step, since they are stored inside .world files instead of save files. This can be resolved by opening your .world file in s3pe and removing the SNAP resources in it; I only recommend doing this if you know exactly what you're doing, and if you've backed up your .world file prior in case anything goes wrong.
Sims saved to the Sim Bin have their thumbnails stored inside their .sim file, so any Sims saved to the bin prior to installing this mod will retain their old thumbnails. You can also open up any .sim file and remove the SNAP resources from it if you want to force the game to generate new thumbnails; again, please be careful and back up your files.
Compatibility
This mod is not compatible with any other mod that replaces either the base game or Pets ThumbnailCameras _INI resources.
This mod is fully compatible with any mods that alter Sims' UI poses, such as @thesweetsimmer111's New UI Poses. I prefer to use my mod in conjunction with hers in the Exaggerated flavor.

fed up of hardly visible harvestables in your sim's inventory? don't want your pears in pairs? this mod replaces the autogenerated thumbnails for ingredients with custom ones that more closely match the produce.
includes fixes for 29 base game, expansion, and store ingredient thumbnails.
DOWNLOAD (SFS)
details under the cut:
tiny thumbnails replaced with close-ups
off-centre thumbnails re-aligned
single ingredients (pears, berries, peaches, etc.) no longer show up as multiples
no more clipping/cropping issues with the mandrake, wolfsbane, and carrot
mandrake thumbnail now depicts the harvestable root, not the flower
egg replaced with more egg-shaped sims 4 version
pecan and cocoa thumbnails replaced with more easily identifiable images
INSTALLATION
place the file in your packages folder (not overrides).
you don't need to have all the harvestables installed for this mod to work. it shouldn't conflict with any default override plants, though the thumbnail won't match if the look of the harvestable is changed.
nothing fancy, I just wanted to have something to link back to because I've had a lot of people asking about this recently. this package turns the main font of the game into the font 'poppins'. I haven't replaced any of the other fonts used in the game outside of the main one, so whatever uses that ugly papyrus looking font in the game for example will still be what it is by default. I'm sure I'll change that down the line, but I'm just sharing as is for now.
just drop the file into your mods folder and you should be golden (that's all I've done and as you can see it works for me lol).
note that my reshade takes away some of the crispness of text in general, in hindsight I probably should've taken screenshots without my reshade on but I have closed my game and I'm hungry sorry
This is a mod that replaces most of The Sims 3's set of facial idle animations with their The Sims Medieval counterparts, resulting in subtler, more natural facial expressions.
More info, full previews and download under the cut!
This little package is one I've had in my personal folder for quite a while, but recently I got back to working on it to fix a couple issues and make some small adjustments before putting it out there.
The mod replaces 15 facial expressions for Sims aged teen and up. Most of the remaining expressions are left intact because they are identical in both games. These facial expressions are those that Sims make when idle depending on their mood; the expressions they make during interactions, socials, etc. are unaffected by this mod.
Though the facial expressions in TSM are far from perfect, the artists definitely learned a few lessons from TS3. TSM's facial expressions have reduced clipping and noticeably less distortion of the Sim's facial features, which means we can bid goodbye to Sims' eyelashes clipping through their eyebrows, noses scrunched up to oblivion, and humanly impossible facial contortions. Your mileage may vary, of course, depending on each particular Sim's facial slider combo; you will likely see more distorted animations on more distorted faces.
See a full in-game comparison of the vanilla vs. replaced facial expressions here!
By default, all facial expressions have a full blinking animation and a "noblink" pose. The TSM animations had some sort of blinking, but the Sim's eyes didn't actually close for some reason, so I took care of that for every facial expression this mod touches to bring them more in line with the few remaining TS3 ones.
Compatibility
This mod will conflict with other mods that edit most of the a_expression and a_expressions CLIP resources.
This mod is technically compatible with other mods that alter different resources in order to change the frequency of, or entirely disable, the facial expressions, such as Esmeralda's No making stupid faces when idle. Of course, if you used that mod, then you'd never see the facial expressions this one has to offer. :P
