the last post i rbed makes me so particularly insane bc it’s like. god i bet pete is writing about the fans way more often than we ever assume. i bet we are in every ‘you’ and ‘them’ he writes in one way or another. we know songs like favorite record and thriller are about us, we know how highly he/fob regards us for everything we’ve done for them (you are the dreamer, we are the dream) and that we truly are one of the longest, most fullfilling yet simultaneously toxic, symbiotic relationship he’s had. of course he would write about us in a romantic, complicated, storied way. and it makes me insane
