so i was originally gonna keep this blog as like a super secret thing, but ! because everyone in Oakhurst kinda already knows who i am there's no point ! to anyone outside of Oakhurst however i'm on the hunt for any and all creatures sightings so if you see some let me know !!! Especially if you see Bigfoot !

Also about the avid and marm situation, i know its tough rn but remember that we as a community, in vsmp, skyblock, the flight etc, did nothing wrong by loving their work, their characters, their stories.

No matter how many "i told you sos" youll see on twitter or anywhere else, please dont feel like you should've known better when the whole point of the shitstorm is that people got manipulated, intentionally. Youll see the sentiment of "dont idolise content creators" repeated, and it seems so obvious from the get go, but I know it often only hits once something of this severity happens in relation to a creator you love.

It hurts and it sucks and however you decide to react to it is your business and your business alone. Keep creating, keep loving, or take a break, focus on something else entirely, whatever you do, there is no correct or right way to deal with putting so much effort and care into stories of people who hurt others, not when theyre already off the cc sphere anyway.

I know i dont need to give my two cents on this, that it has all been said before, but just yknow. Support circle and a little empathy to my fellow mcyt fan compatriots bc yall are some of the most talented, passionate and creative people ive seen and its so easy to get lost in further discoursauce and let it get to you

i am no longer going to be working with AvidMc

over the past several days, i have talked with dozens of people who have corroborated evidence which confirms fears i have had for months - fears which i had been made to believe were unsubstantiated, until now. for my own privacy, safety, and wellbeing, i will be keeping this a personal matter. if there comes a time where it becomes relevant to share my perspective, i will do so with care and respect for everyone involved. at this time, however, i do not feel it would be helpful.

this situation has left me heartbroken. it has been devastating to find that someone who i trusted, loved, and considered one of my best friends was not the person i believed him to be. i am feeling more betrayed than i know how to express. my only solace is that in spite of this, i still find myself surrounded by friends and beloveds. forgive me if i choose to lean into them rather than my art in the coming weeks.

as for our music with Avid, i have given them the option to do what he pleases with it. while i am so, so proud of the love and care i have put into those songs, i sincerely cannot in good conscious claim them anymore. so many people have loved those songs, and i would not feel right taking them from anyone. this is why i have left it his decision whether he wants them to remain, or whether he chooses to remove them.

i ask that all of you please, please remain cordial. we are hurt, and the only thing that poking around and harassing others does is perpetuate the cycle of harm. if any malice burns within your heart, extinguish it now. i am tired of vitriol. i am tired, just in general. i want to take my time to heal, and then continue to make the art that i love, and share it with all of you. i ask each of you to do me the favor of not rocking the boat in the meantime.

Owen is walking through the forest, fresh lumber in his bag. His feet stomp silently as he sees someone out of his peripheral, scowling slightly before lifting his hood up above his face.

He walks behind them, creeping up like a cat on a mouse—he's not going to attack them per se, Louis would dislike him attacking the townspeople, he's just going to give them a little scare; make their skin crawl.

"And who may you be?" He tilts his head, similar in fashion to an owl. His axe is set beside his foot, and he taps it against the ground.

*Shelby yelps and practically jumps a foot in the air, her glasses quickly becoming askew. She quickly turns around to face the mysterious voice, her heart pounding in her chest.*

"God you scared me! Although I guess that's kind of on me for wandering through the woods..." *She mumbles something as she trails off, one hand moving to fix their glasses*

"Oh, right! I'm Shelby, and uh, who are you?"

Ah. Did Louis ever tell him to use a fake name?

Owen hums at the question, musing for a second. "Owen." He bows his head, "You shouldn't be walking these woods alone. Wolves come out at this time of season." Owen is blatantly lying, wolves come out during the winter—it's mid-autumn.

He sighs, "Come with me, I'll lead you back to town."

"What? That makes no sense, wolves shouldn't be out this early? And either way I'm good with animals! Also I'm exploring, I don't wanna go back to town anyways! I heard rumors of things in the forest and I wanna find 'em!"

Owen rolls his eyes, very clearly exasperated. "And do you not think the 'things in the forest' could perhaps be dangerous? At least take someone in town to protect you."

Shit. Turns out someone perhaps may have spilled something about the Goldsmiths, that's not any good. He'll have to speak with Louis about that.

"How do you know I can't protect myself? Maybe I'm this super skilled secret fighter!"

*She seems very excited to talk to this complete and total stranger, being very open and warm towards him*

Owen seems relatively surprised at the openness presented by this rather odd individual. He's taken aback for a moment, before regaining his bearings.

"Really? Well then," He hands her his axe, "show me your skills, secret fighter." Owen points to a tree, amused smirk on his face.

"I- what am I supposed to do with an axe? I guess I just swing it...?"

*They mumble to themself before lifting the axe and kind of terribly swinging it at a tree. The axe seems to be a bit too heavy for her because it throws her a bit off balance and she stumbles a bit*

"See? If you can't hold a weapon, then you can't properly protect yourself against the dangers of the woods." Owen says, grabbing his axe from Shelby's hands. He seems much more well-versed with the tool than she is, and it's quite awe-inspiring, as if he's been holding an axe his entire life.

"Okay well your axe is too big for me, that's not my fault! It suits you well though, you must know your way around that axe pretty well"

Owen seems quite bashful at the compliment, clearly embarrassed and surprised. He stutters for a moment, grip on the axe tightening, "Well- yes, I've been holding this blade my entire life."

"Really? Are you a lumberjack then? I've seen you around before a couple of times, always with the mayor though"

He nods his head, "Ah, yes I am. The mayor is my husband." Owen brings up the ring on his hand, fiddling with it for a second. His face is flushed slightly red as he mentions the Mayor, and he seems lovestruck.

*Shelby gasps and covers her mouth*

"Oh my gosh I knew it!!! You two are so cute together, that's amazing!!!"

Owen flashes a sheepish smile, axe swaying in his hand nervously. If he was human, he'd be blushing a lot more wildly—he's so thankful for his blessing from Louis, or else he'd be a flushed mess. That would tarnish his reputation...

"Thank you, thank you. Hold on, you knew it?"

"Um yeah? You guys are so cute together! I totally shipped it!!!"

*Shelby asks, looking a bit nervous, both to see him and to be seen with him*

"Okay well that's clearly a lie, what's actually going on?

Glancing up the mountain to the side a few times

"bye!-" stumbling quickly, his hands pulled himself up the mountain. Avid didn't have a reason why he was nearby, he just was—

"Avid! Don't run away from me! Unless, are you scared of me...?"

"I-" Avid sat down on the edge of the mountain pausing looking down at Shelby "Pretty people are scary-" think he indirectly flirted with her at that moment

*She freezes and just stares at him for a moment*

"I- huh?? Are you, calling me pretty?"

"Yes? Is that not what I said?" Avid tilted his head to the side raising an eyebrow, his legs swaying back and forth slightly.

Owen is walking through the forest, fresh lumber in his bag. His feet stomp silently as he sees someone out of his peripheral, scowling slightly before lifting his hood up above his face.

He walks behind them, creeping up like a cat on a mouse—he's not going to attack them per se, Louis would dislike him attacking the townspeople, he's just going to give them a little scare; make their skin crawl.

"And who may you be?" He tilts his head, similar in fashion to an owl. His axe is set beside his foot, and he taps it against the ground.

*Shelby yelps and practically jumps a foot in the air, her glasses quickly becoming askew. She quickly turns around to face the mysterious voice, her heart pounding in her chest.*

"God you scared me! Although I guess that's kind of on me for wandering through the woods..." *She mumbles something as she trails off, one hand moving to fix their glasses*

"Oh, right! I'm Shelby, and uh, who are you?"

"Really? Well then," He hands her his axe, "show me your skills, secret fighter." Owen points to a tree, amused smirk on his face.

"I- what am I supposed to do with an axe? I guess I just swing it...?"

*They mumble to themself before lifting the axe and kind of terribly swinging it at a tree. The axe seems to be a bit too heavy for her because it throws her a bit off balance and she stumbles a bit*

"See? If you can't hold a weapon, then you can't properly protect yourself against the dangers of the woods." Owen says, grabbing his axe from Shelby's hands. He seems much more well-versed with the tool than she is, and it's quite awe-inspiring, as if he's been holding an axe his entire life.
