everyone on the planet who rps: has ships me: wants ships also me: knows in main verse, a good and solid relationship just.. is not in the cards and won’t happen. the most we’ll get is her dating but usually, it’s purely for another purpose entirely that is beneficial to her. it’s not to say she wouldn’t ever fall in love with these people but katherine’s self preservation is heightened and therefore, she will choose herself over anyone else each and every time. because i do play her in the season 2 & 3 era primarily and that never ceases so that means klaus is still after her ass and she absolutely refuses to give klaus anyone else she loves a death by him also purely out of spite. there’s also fear but,,, spite. the ironic part is that when katherine loves, she loves incredibly hard so. much like myself in life and everything else, she’s fucked. forever fucked. there will be no winning there, man. and even if i did want to explore a season 5 setting where she’s human and it’s possible now, this is a habit and behavior she’s embedded into herself for over 500 years, that isn’t going to change overnight. in other words: katherine’s a fucking mess.

this isn’t to say i’m not willing to ship in main but,,, yeah Ulterior meanings lie ahead. ajkshdk I don’t think I’m also interested in curving how she feels regarding klaus for a ship (in other words, an AU she’s gonna go ahead and love and marry and just live a good life and not even think about klaus). i just do not vibe ~

now in AUs and verses where things are different,,,, ooof what a wild world to imagine. now that is different and that is all i will say.
