Pyro sees a glimpse of Grey in his vision or at least what's left to it. There is the distinct sound of the pitter patter of paws against stone as well though. When he turns around he sees a letter and a vial of liquid. In the letter it says,
"Dear Scholar Pyro, sorry for the late response but I've found the ingredients for my remedy. Though definitely not as good as what the Doc could make it should help alleviate some of the pain.
As for your inquiry as to my location, I'm not from the area but have been around. I've actually come for similar reasons to you from what I've gathered though not the exact same.
-sincerely a Curious Raccoon"
The vial next to the letter seems to be some form of water infused with flowers and herbs
Pyro rolls the vial between his hands curiously. Should he use it? Can he trust a vial from someone he's never met? Is he even allowed to take something? Will sire punish him for easing his punishment? Where did these items even come from?
With a sigh pyro sits on the ground and pulls out his writing set.
"once again I find myself writing to you 'curious raccoon',
What does that say about me, I ponder, as I find myself inexplicably trusting you. That, I fear, will eventually be my downfall. Regardless, I find myself cautious about taking a remedy from someone I haven't even seen.
You claim your reasoning for coming to this town is similar to my own, and yet I don't believe you know me to the point of knowing my intentions. Are you someone I've met before?
Please don't take my caution as a commentary on your character, rather my need for survival in a world where everyone has a motivation. I can only feel at ease when I know that such motivation won't go against my livelihood as I'm sure you understand.
Maybe one day we can sit down and have a chat. Until then, I feel as though I should hold onto the vial you gifted me. In all respects I'm not even sure I'm allowed to ease my puni injury
As always, jack von pyroscythe
