Pyro culture is salivating when someone invites you to a bbq or the like because there WILL be lots of flames involved even if you don't have any interest in the food. ps. tysm for being an antiradq & antiendo pyro blog i felt so alone
Pyro culture is...
Love staring at the flames of a grill even if I hate hotdogs, you're so right anon
I felt alone in my disorder I can barely find anyone, I'm glad those that find me also share sentiments and such, thank *you* nonnie /g
I wish people used these tags more
But I mean seriously, use them seriously, as the disorder related tags they are
Not an aesthetic, not for anarchist or arsonist characters, not for quirky characters you put in a sanist stereotype, not for fanart, not for a fucking music album or song.
Not everything (briefly) fire related needs to be tagged as pyromania
But discussions, actual pyromaniacs dealing with it, people considering/questioning a possible diagnosis etc.
That doesn't mean dont tag photos or videos of fire as pyromania, just dont invade the tags if you dont have pyromania yourself or at least take it seriously like you would posting about autism or any other mental shit.
If it's the topic of the post and/or you have or are questioning pyromania, yes, use the tags for it.
But its unrelated and invasive if you dont have it and are just posting about fire especially if you're posting fictional characters in an already flooded tag where our voices are drowned out.
That said I really wanna have more pyro friends/moots

Anatomy of a Cheap Butane Lighter
I’m gonna eat all the marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms box!
Pyromania culture is wishing the tags werent misused and more active but the activity didn't come from that misuse.
Pyromania culture is being tired of blocking people for misusing my disorder
Pyrophilia culture is some of the only rep being masochists or sadistic villains torturing their victims otherwise people conflating pyromaniacs with pyrophiles as the same thing and the only remotely harmless pyrophilia in media is people using candles to "set the mood" but really they're just creating a giant fire hazard which has been shown in crime media to be a cause of couples loosing their houses to fire.
Tldr: pyrophile culture is only having bad misunderstood rep in media.
Pyro culture is having to write characters with pyromania yourself since it’s misrepresented in the media
