Jonathon rolled his eyes at Vance. âThere you again, treating the Olympians as if they were a joke. I happen to take them very seriously, unlike you.â When Vance suddenly grabbed his throat, Jonathon felt the air rush out of his lungs, and worst of all, he felt his heart beat slowing down. Was he trying to kill him? Jonathon did everything he could to get out of the boyâs grip. He tried hitting and kicking him, but that didnât seem to work. He was too weak to cause an effective blow. He was just about to black out when all of a sudden he put his hands up to say truce.
"I'm not treating them as a joke. I'm just trying to show you that everything doesn't have to be taken so seriously." He said to him through gritted teeth. He was trying to keep his temper down. He didn't want to kill the boy but it was so tempting and the more he talked the more it drove him mad. He shook him a bit when the boy tried fighting back. "Just stop! I don't want to hurt you!" He kept telling him as the boy calmed down and he noticed that he was starting to black out. When he put his hands up in a truce, he loosened his grip on him but enough that he could take control again if needed. He got right up to the boys face, inches away from him and whispered, "I really don't and didn't want to hurt you, but you keep causing this to yourself." He said as he lowered his eyes at the ground.
