Ever since he had moved to Vancouver, his life seemed to be come together. After Teen Wolf ended, he had time and energy to be home with his wife. When Janel told him that she was pregnant, it had been the best news since they had gotten married. He was excited to became a father, and extend their family. He had told Lucy, when he seen that she was back in Vancouver. She was after all, his television sister. So yeah, he had to tell her. After he got back from telling her, he noticed that Janel wasn’t home. Which meant that he had the house to himself for a bit or at least until she returned.
After cleaning up, he started working on the baby room. He had ordered some stuff after, Janel had told him she was pregnant. And now, he was putting it all together before she got back. He had no idea, how long he had been working on things. But he heard the front door open, he was glad that he had actually finished up. “Don’t come up!” He yelled out, before leaving their baby’s bedroom. Cody, made his way downstairs and found her in the kitchen with shopping bags. “Is there more? I can grab them.”
Admittedly, Janel had been kind of nervous when she found out she was pregnant. Of course, Cody was her husband, but he was still quite young and she was afraid what would happen when he found out that she was carrying his child. Much to her surprise and relief, however, he seemed... incredibly excited about it. In turn, this actually made Janel really excited about being a mother and about them being a family. Pretty Little Liars was over now and she wasn’t far enough along that she could still finish the movie that she had been cast in.
The house was running low on groceries and Janel wanted to get her workout in for the day. Walking through the aisle’s the the local Whole Foods would have to suffice. Though, her hungry pregnancy brain was making her quite hungry and she ended up coming back with much more than she had gone there for. Walking into their house, Janel put the groceries down on the kitchen counter with a huff. “I’m not!” Janel called back, knowing she wasn’t walking up any stairs right now. “There’s a few more in the trunk if you don’t mind grabbing them, babe,” Janel said, smiling at her husband and unpacking some of the bags onto the kitchen counter.
