Zayn smiled and nodded. “I’m sure I will come to you when I don’t know how to get a voicemail off. I’m seriously the worst. But I love fifa, COD those kinds of games. Games I played with my Mates on tour.”

“COD is probably my favorite.” Sean replied, shoving his hands into his pockets as they walked along the street. “I also like Grand Theft Auto every so often. Some of the later ones are a little lame but the original is fun.”

...I don’t think I can mention that in polite company. Let’s just say there were handcuffs involved and leave it there.

24: Talk about something someone told you that meant a lot.

Michael Weatherly, one of the people on NCIS with me is leaving the show and when we filmed his last episode, he pulled me aside and said, “Sean, you’ve been my friend for 13 years now. If you think we still won’t be friends after this, you’re dead wrong. So don’t look so sad, McGeek. You’re not getting rid of me that easily!” It meant a lot because he’s somebody I hope to know when I’m 80 years old and sitting in the rest home. But I’m still going to miss him.

Zayn shrugged but internally he was panicking he couldn’t tell him what he really did with his free time.. He’d made that mistake just once and they sent him to a doctor. “I go to the gym a lot, play video games, write music. That’s about it really. I’m pretty much shit with computers… I didn’t even have an Iphone for the longest time.”

“If you ever have problems with it or with a computer, I’m your man.” Sean knew a lot of people were hesitant about new technology but he embraced it and figured out how it worked for himself. “What kind of games do you like? I have a few different game systems.” He had a PS4, X-Box One and other older ones as well.

Zayn smiled and nodded as he blew warm air into his hands. “Yeah yeah do any of these places involve warmth? I forgot how cold it gets up north.” Walking along he meandered around Little Italy smiling at all of the shops even if some of them were closed. “So what do you do for fun around here? Besides go to the gym at 2. A.M.” He smirked winking at the older man.

“A lot of them do. C’mon, icicle hands.” Sean joked, tugging at Zayn’s jacket sleeve lightly. He had some gloves in his pocket he’d give him if it got any colder. He rolled his eyes at the comment about the gym. “Not a lot. I’m pretty boring. I’m friends with Chloe Bennett, from Agents of Shield and she makes sure I get out once in a while and I act as a lot of people’s free tech support. I’m good with computers. What about you, Mr. Superstar?”

Zayn sat on a small bench as he waited for Sean to arrive. Looking down at his phone he bit his lip and nodded. It was a good thing moving up to Canada. While it didn’t cure him, the itch and constant hum in his mind had faded, for now. Fidgeting with his lighter he pulled out a cigarette and lit up taking a long drag of the smoke. Almost instantly his nerves calmed and his mind stopped working a million thoughts a second. Finishing his cigarette he put it out just in time to see Sean. Smiling and waving he made his way over to him. “Hey mate, how are you?”

To say that Sean was a little surprised was an understatement. He didn’t hang out with people like Zayn but he’d gotten along with the singer well enough from their limited interaction, and he thought it would be better to get out of his apartment for once and try to make a new friend. “Hey.” He answered, seeing the wave and turning himself toward him, hands shoved into the pockets of his jacket. “Doing pretty good! Ready to see a little something of Vancouver?” While he wasn’t an expert, Sean knew how to use to phone so they would be okay. Even getting lost would be a bit of an adventure.

Hmm… Where would you like to meet?

How about at East Hastings Street? It’s a part of Little Italy and a nice place to get started.

Hmm.. That’s good to know. So Sean… Since I’m new to the city and all, want to show me around?

I think I could handle that just fine, Zayn.

I usually head to the Anytime Fitness on Cedar Cottage Mews. Sometimes I have insomnia and they’re open 24 hours a day so I can go whenever I want to. They’re great there.

Do you know where any gyms are? They’re just as important as food.

I know of several gyms and Clark Gregg takes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from a studio so if you’re interested in that, ask him. He’s a black belt.
