The sweetest, softest, kindest day of the year just like the birthday girl Herself - Srimati Radharani 💕 Madhuri Kunja sevakas and friends came to taste the nectar of this glorious day with sweet sweet kirtan & sweet sweet hari-katha. Everyone had a chance to perform abhisheka to Srimati Radhika and taste endless dishes of maha-prasadam 💕
On that day, the gopis and manjaris where all dressed in new clothes, which vaisnavas have kindly gifted specially for Radhashtami 💕 You can see in the photos how each one of them were glowing and shinning in divine joy 💕

“Dhira-samire Yamuna-tire vasati-vane-vanamale.
The breeze is gently, sweetly, softly flowing. Why? He is intoxicated. From what?
Rati-sukha-sare, gatam abhisare, madana-manohara-vesam.
He sees Krsna in His madana-manohara-vesam and becomes intoxicated. Krsna’s face has many signs from kumkum and kasturi. Why? He kisses Srimati Radharani’s feet. Why? Before leaving the kunja during nisanta-lila, Krsna prays to Srimati, “I wish to meet You again and again? Will You allow Me to have Your darsana tonight?” He prays to Her and holds on to Her feet and kisses them. Then the sign of kumkum comes on His face.”
