Pyrrha, walking her six year old daughter to school. They come up to a crossing over a busy road.
Pyrrha, looking at her daughter next to her: Honey, would you like to press the button?
Her daughter, Oriana: Yeah! I can do it! Look! *Jumps up and slaps the button.*
Pyrrha, giggling fondly: Very well done, Ori! You’re getting taller, not long ago you couldn’t reach that button.
Ori: I know, Mommy! I’m getting big now! Daddy said I’ll be taller than him soon.
Pyrrha, smiling: Did he now? Well he’s not wrong, but you’ll always be Mommy’s little girl. *Kisses her head.*
Ori: What does the button do, Mommy?
Pyrrha, looking at the traffic lights: Well, it makes the lights change to red, see? And that stops the cars, so we can walk safely across the road to school.
Pyrrha: You’re so cute, I swear. See? Now they’ve gone red. So hold Mommy’s hand…
Ori: But I’m a big girl, I don’t need to hold your hand!
Pyrrha, holding back the tears, because her baby’s growing up so quickly!: Well… how about you - being my big brave girl - help Mommy cross the road, since I’m so old. *Pouts.*
Ori, giggling: You’re not old, Mommy. But yes! I’ll help! *Take’s Pyrrha’s hand.*
Pyrrha, just about to cross the road when a car speeds through the red light, Pyrrha tugging her daughter back to safety.
Ori: Hey! That man didn’t stop! *Puffs out cheeks*
Pyrrha, fucking seething, eye twitching and teeth grinding: *hand lifts and glows black.*
*Speeding car stops suddenly and begins to get dragged backwards. Tires screech and smoke as he tries to speed on. Soon the car is dragged back in front of Pyrrha, who knocks on the window with her knuckles.*
Pyrrha, smiling: Wind the window down please.
The guy inside: I got places to be, lady!
Pyrrha, punching the window and smashing it, while smiling: I see. I see you’re important, and that where ever you need to be is a thousand times more important than the safety of my child, whom you nearly ran over.
The guy in the car, starting to sweat: U-Uhh, look I-I see what you’re sayin and-
Pyrrha: Do you? Do you see? Because all I see is someone who thinks he’s god’s gift to the world in his expensive car, who nearly ran my daughter over because he needed to be somewhere.
*Car begins to dent and crumple from her polarity.*
Guy inside: H-Hey! Lady! I-I’m sorry, I’m sorry, stop crushing my car!
Pyrrha: Oh I am? I’m so sorry! I must’ve missed that! Seeing as I’m so important, I must have glossed over that detail to get where I need to be!
Ori, tugging her Mom’s sleeve: Mommy?
Ori: The light’s not red anymore. *Little hand points to it.*
Pyrrha: Oh, I see. Do you want to press the button again for me? Safely though! Be careful of the road. *Glares in the car* There are selfish people in this world.
Guy in the car: I’m so sorry, okay! What more do you want?!
Pyrrha: Next time I walk my daughter to school, and you see a red light, you will stop. Do you understand me? Otherwise, I’ll crush this car into a tiny cube, and all your disgusting innards will pour out the sides, and-
Ori: Mommy, I pressed it! *giggles* See? I’m so tall I could do it twice!
Pyrrha: That’s lovely sweetie! *Lets go of the car to watch it limp away.* Have a nice day! C’mon sweetie, let’s get you to school.
Ori, confused: Hey! Wait a minute! *Hands on hips adorably.* The light’s not red yet Mommy, a-and all the cars have stopped.
Pyrrha: Oh have they? Oh yes, so they have.
Everyone fucking sweating in their cars: She’d do anything for her daughter, and that’s both wholesome as fuck and terrifying as fuck.
Pyrrha: How kind of them. But, we’ll wait for the light, just to be safe. *Boops her daughter’s nose.*
