i do not want one disappointment get me to a place where i no longer trust God. because my life is not my own, i understand that there is a distinction between my will and His will. so disappointment is inevitable. but so is peace, comfort, prosperity, success, and love, when i trust in the one who loves me more than any one else i know.

The Unknown Day and Hour of Messiah’s Return 

 36 “No one knows when that day and hour will come—neither the heavenly angels nor the Son, but only the Father, 37 because just as it was in Noah’s time, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. 38 In those days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage right up to the day when Noah went into the ark. 39 They were unaware of what was happening until the flood came and swept all of them away. It’s the story of a father whose son was possessed by a spirit that threw him into violent seizures. Though the father’s faith was wavering, he still turned to Jesus. “I believe,” the father cried. “Help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24). In the same breath, this man professed his faith and confessed his doubt. Haven’t we all been there? We believe in Jesus’ power, yet we have a hard time believing He can come through in our particular situation. That’s okay. With the little faith we have, God wants us to go to Him. Just like how He raised this man’s son to life and health, God will raise us out of our unbelief and show us that He is able to handle anything that we are battling today.
