Rest In Peace to our CURL, Helen Adams Keller who was the first deaf-blind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree 👏. She became widely known through the play and film, The Miracle Worker. Helen campaigned for women's suffrage, labor rights, socialism, antimilitarism and other similar causes. Her birthplace in West Tuscumbia, AL, is now a museum and sponsors an annual "Helen Keller Day". In true CURL nature, Helen proved to the world that deaf people could all learn to communicate and that they could survive in the hearing world. On the way to see Tennelle, I kept thinking about how amazing it is to be able to maintain friendships for so long. College friends ✨ We all met as underclassmen. Stopped talking, moved around, reunited, grew up and now we're growing together. I love it 💕 I'm in my feelings Lol.
