friendly reminder that Tumblr Staff has all the resources and time to do elaborate trivial web coding for this website for April Fool’s Day annually but never did shit to remove cp in this website, ban nazis, and clean the porn bots. meanwhile, they are punishing its userbase by banning all adult-related content using a flawed “automated” system or machine to do it. as a result, non-nsfw blogs got terminated wrongfully, and even non-nsfw content are getting flagged and blocked. ladies and gentlemen, this is how staff doesn’t give a damn about its user-base and how this website is so broken

Im big mad ovr banning all adult content. Not cuz im Horny on Main, but because the entirety of the sites userbase has been begging for @staff to do something about the porn bots and pedophiles and literal Nazis, and not jack SHIT had been done. No, instead, they're going to use the same shitty bots that they've tried to use before to flag inappropriate blogs. They don't work. The most random SHIT gets flagged. All the time. And the ability to post 18+ content as an adult was one of the big bonuses to the site. As an adult, i enjoy being able to speak and act as adult. As a victim of pedophilia, i totally don't want minors exposed to adult content. I would LOVE to see more focus on protecting minors. You can protect minors from seeing inappropriate content without banning it entirely. They're just being lazy and going back to using the same infuriating filter system they've used before that NEVER WORKS.
