ITS FINALLY HERE! My commission for Nosh'ami and Ayami! I love it! It captures them beautifully.
-jumps with joy- ^^
Not bad. Not bad at all.
Father|Son
Even Shamans can look like they’ll ruin your day.
Did some RP with felflame some 2-3 weeks ago. Got this golden shot of a selfie in. Amaranthee: “Seriously?” Noshami: “Ha!”
Kadrah’s battle mog got updated! ^_^ Not a single slot wasted in contributing to the look. <3
I just finished this PvP season’s cap and purchased every 660(690) piece of gear available. The damage is brilliant, and the looks are something to die for!
Another guild review.
The last one was dedicated to Noctis Sol of Moonguard. Now, I’m going to give a review of an up-and-coming guild I’ve spent a couple weeks in that goes by the name of “Corsairs of the Kraken”. First off, I’d like to congratulate these individuals on earning their prestige in the category of PvP... On an RP realm. That’s like having a pasta-eating contest without Italy, to take a line from ERB--And that’s just honesty. Still, some of these folks are wonderful players, but nothing worth writing home about. Only one member (Ashenveil/Sesoni/Varkaden) put forth any effort on giving me a hand when I needed it. In my two weeks or so in that guild, I was harped on not once, but twice, for not playing my shaman per their preference. Their community is not a friendly one. It is harsh and outside of being barked at, never in my time in Warcraft did I ever feel like “just another member”. Granted, I don’t expect a fanfare every time I log on, but being outright ignored (and when I wasn’t ignored, being “harped on”) when I wanted help, to give help, or just conversation, was not a pleasant experience. Their RP etiquette is of the lowest tier possible. I don’t fancy that many people have branded me in-game as an “elitist”, but realistically speaking, I’ve heard about many situations where the actions of characters involved in the guild were influenced by the commands of the guild leader himself via-Gchat. I have seen the guild chat during this time and can confirm. Two of my friends (who shall remain anonymous) have also seen this, and agree that the way this guild conducts its roleplay is cringeworthy at worst, laughable at best. I expected more from an RP-PvP guild that intends to make good on the spot its earned since its conception, and somehow, I wasn’t surprised to find out that I’d be giving this guild a low score. Corsairs of the Kraken, you earn 2/10.
Much has happened between the arrival of the Iron Tide and now, from the rise and fall of minor powers struggling to capitalize on minute opportunities to the unwritten peace between two machines of war. A born fighter is stripped of her dignity, having tasted naught but victory until her coming upon the Laughing Skull Clan. A literally crippling defeat left the Gladiator for death to claim lest she accept the lessons the experience taught her. Once proud and boisterous cries of war and rallying calls to victory are silenced and replaced by beastly growls and the occasional cough. She bears a mask of foes she had returned to Gorgrond to fall, and to ensure the permanent reminder and reason, this physical facade was sewn tightly to her face. Robbed of her voice, she stepped down as commander of Fort Varasic. Her replacement was only fitting. Having been retrieved from the clutches of the Iron Horde and freed of hardy shackles, the Black Sheep returns to Fort Varasic only to find that he’s been asked to take command. Given two weeks time to recover and a number of psychological evaluations, he accepted the mantle gracefully, and since his reign, the center of trade and supply has seen nothing but improvements. So shines another faint beacon of hope in a war between worlds. The last of the Varasic bloodline prevails in the face of improbable odds, and evolves to grow and become stronger than before. This, my friends, is how the greatest of dynasties come to rise before the fall.
Just sayin’.
Fuck a passive-aggressive “moonguard secrets” post.
Never before have I seen a guild that not only breaks lore, but shits on it, and entertains the idea of keeping members who openly admit to blurring the line between IC and OOC.
That said... “The Will of Dath’remar” is a shitguild that I’d love to see fall apart.
And you heard that from the horse’s mouth. Cheers.
From Start...
To last. I've been back playing WoW for some time now, and I can honestly say that I recall each guild I've given an honest try. The first one of note is Noctis Sol, lead by the patient felflame. Spawning from the depths of being fed-up under neglect of prior management, Noctis Sol was a collection of individuals from The Upper Hand. In forming, this guild swelled and caught the eyes of most anyone who was anyone. Those who sought a home with peers who could write for days found this guild to be a beacon of hope in a sea of festering filth. Having high standards of literacy barred many who were interested from joining, but over time, the guild had earned a reputation others were either envious of, or feared. Noctis Sol was strict on lore, and had the benefit of being home to a number of fantastic PvE players and PvPers. The only issue I've had with this guild was the management and its event activity. Not getting into detail, it was underwhelming, but this hardly scratched the benefits this guild has to offer. I highly recommend this guild to anyone who seeks to find like-minded, high-quality, lore-strict and content-experiencing peers. Noctis Sol, you score high. 9.5/10.
So I'm joining guilds...
... But not those I've already been in. On Moonguard, anyway. I'll be reviewing the guilds I've already been in, and continue to review guilds as I give each one I can a try. There will be a strict criteria for which I'll be doing my unbiased-as-possible ratings. This sounds like I'm going to be rocking a few boats. Lovely. ;)
Kadrah's battle mog is now complete. Fuck yes.
Inspired by the 'Father' image I slapped together before, I did a little something for Kadrah.
Another tidbit over mspaint just to have something else up here. The quotes and their stories, if you're interested, are as follows: "I've come too far to fail now!" Noshami was hired to perform a task that involved the capture of two Orcish fellows that abandoned their post. One stayed back so the other could escape once he located them, and after tying the one that stayed back, he'd noticed he used all of the tricks up his sleeve and caught where the other was headed in the distance. So, to encourage himself, he said this. "Cahal, be a gentleman." This is a phrase Noshami says often when showing his favored companion, Cahal, to someone he's just meeting. He typically moves his hands a certain way to get Cahal to follow an order, or to show off a trick, or be affectionate, while the phrase alone is just a way to get his attention. "The Varasic name ends with me." A woman was discussing the possibility of Noshami having children. At that point in time, just as currently, Noshami has no interest in producing offspring of his own. Knowing that Kadrah is far too focused in her combat, he's confident that he is the last to ever be born with the Varasic name, which produced this answer. "I don't love you anymore." Noshami had said this to an ex-lover who, over time, began to verbally abuse him. From not being thankful for all he was providing for her, to the eventual cursing and hitting things, he'd become afraid for his health and was sick of being unhappy with her, and broke this news to her. "Ha! I win!" He likes to say this at random, whenever he either wins a conversation or a contest, and says this in a silly voice that deviates from his typically calm and almost business-like tone. "One way or another, someday soon, maybe later, I will end you." He said this to the Death Knights that had temporarily robbed him of his companion, Cahal. He spoke this through heartbreaking agony, tears, and seething rage. He delivered on this promise. "Death does not scare me. Dying, though..." He trailed off mid-thought here, as he began to ponder his mortality. This was his answer to a supposition that he'd be killed soon, but 'lo and behold, he lives and breathes today in Azeroth. Or Draenor, take your pick.
Another point on WoW-Moonguard RPers and writers... Why "themes" or "theme songs"? Shit's like sitcoms or anime all across Azeroth. "In comes [your character's name here]! Now filmed in front of a live audience!"
*Applaud*
On Moonguard RP, or roleplay in general… Why are we using words like ‘hues’ and ‘orbs’ in the place of eyes? :| - Sincerely, Every decent writer out there
