All hail Vasilisa Ivanovna, Baroness and matriarch of the Ivanova Household. Grandmother of @alexivan77 , though with her natural beautification routine and age repairment (and just that), it sometimes is hard to believe. She has clawed her way from a house of shame and poverty to a house of respect and modest wealth, though she still always is looking to do more before she hands off the control to her heir.

But there is another side to her. She is Eldar Envy of the Adamant Syndicate, and she always is exerting influence to trade powers to further her own. Never content, never satisfied, never trusting. None trusting except for the one creature that was there since she was made Heir after the tragic, mysterious passing of her elder sister.

She is open to any and all asks, is extremely TOM spoiler prone. Until we get confirmation of the other eldars, she is just a fun oc who's lore I'm playing fast and loose with.

A fluttering energetic presence whisks through the Savannah shopping crowds, apologetically bumping into the Baroness, spilling the contents of her (the stranger’s) bag across the path. A thinly veiled magic hidden behind an amateurish yet powerful illusion.

her lip curled in disgust at the person as she stepped back, gripping her staff tightly as if to strike the unfortunate recipient of her wrath.

"Little beast! How dare you touch me so with your filth?? And who are-"

The magic was strong, visible even. Magic no ordinary peasant could possibly own.

"Ah. Apologies, you've given me a fright. I am nobility, yes. And who might be you to speak to me so?"

She made no move to help the being, yet watched carefully as she lowered the staff.

They are lazy, inefficient, and so, so small of mind to see just how blessed their blood is with their gifts. It is a waste on them. The second are scared, petrified whelps who refuse to take risks, or think outside their comfortable books and rules and scriptures. Trust in Dura, cast what is allowed, and become just as stifled and dead in growth as the arrogant ones. Both are unacceptable blasphermers against a sacred duty. And the third group of students, they are the ones that suffer."

"Now, tell me as an intelligent man of business. If you had three employees, and two were incompetent wastes of a good wage pay, what would you do for that third employee who is not just loyal, but also ambitious and clever with his responsibilities to further your company?"

Journal Entry #1

"Do not weep for the nightingales, Alexandra."

At least that is what I tell my granddaughter. Naive little thing, she is worst than my daughter. Sweet, innocent little thing... the one sun left in my life. When I was told she was the last remnant of my daughter, I felt my heart break with joy, for all was not lost. I still had my blood running in veins of an heir. I still had my child living on in her own.

Yes her blood is tainted. But it is of no matter, the Ivanovnas have survived more than a little mud. Mud helps replenish a river's ecosystem. Where there is mud, there is little life. Little food for little fish to dig and eat in. But the fools of the other houses would never understand. Ah, mortals. How simple times were when I once thought like a mortal.

But as I look at my granddaughter, my Alexandra, I worry for her. She is so very weak and kind. Soft like a snail without a shell. I cannot let her be crushed, and this time. This time I won't let her out of my sight until she has that shell. I can train her, yes. The damage is minimal, she only lived in the madness of her parents for six short winters. I can refine and help shape this delicate little child into a worthy Heir that can carry on the strength and glory that our house once was.

But her magic... her magic is so very, very weak. I must see if He can assist in this matter...
