Long Have I Waited For You...

FFIV (for FF2 as I knew it then) was my entry into the Final Fantasy series. I was ten at the time and it mesmerized me. I loved the characters, the story, the music. It was my first RPG and it began what was one of my first true passions in life.

Endwalker has been an expansion that felt specially catered to players like myself who grew up with the classic entries on the NES/SNES. Seeing everything re-imagined, and even made better in ways, rekindled my love for FFIV.

Zeromus was the boss fight I waited and hoped for this whole expansion, from the moment I watched the trailer and saw us going to the moon. It did not disappoint. The design, the mechanics and Soken's version of the classic battle theme had me giddy with excitement in facing down my favorite final boss in the series. It felt like I was ten again battling Zeromus for the first time.
