“ …That we get to squeeze in a bit more practice breathing through our ears?“ he replied, and then, she kissed him. She kissed him, and his arms linked around the girl’s waist as he followed along to that endless rhythm the world sent pulsating through his ears—— though it could just as easily have been his heart. Still, Teddy only smiled, and he kissed her back with nothing rushed, just a simple motion that said 'okay, you caught me— i’m yours,’ and though the boy couldn’t have said WHEN it ended, he was all to aware of things again when it did. Still, Teddy refused to open his eyes yet, instead letting his head fall onto her shoulder where nose brushed up against neck, finding something like old books and roses caught between the locks of her hair among a myriad of other wonderful inventions.
"I mean, it’s such a useful skill if you think about it, and, you know what they say, use it or loose it, so, can’t be helped really…also, I’m pretty sure another of these 'Lupercalia’ things was that you don’t ever ever get to leave me now, sorry.” Alright, so THAT ONE was a little bit untrue and entirely made up on his part, but Teddy didn’t care. He had his arms around her, so it might as well have been a rule, at least for the moment, and he’d become quite good at stretching little seconds into forever when he was with her, so if she’d only stay for a few longer, the moment would turn into its own kind of eternity where nothing else mattered beyond the simple act of loving Victoire Weasley…
“I suppose that doesn’t sound like a bad thing,” the blonde said, breathy laugh slipping from lips that pressed to his moments later. And as his arms found their way to her waist, hers looped around his neck and she smiled- because where else would she rather be but there with Teddy? Her fingers slid into his hair, wrapping around blue locks, and she could very well have stayed there forever if the world would allow it. Either way, they eventually pulled apart, and Vic rested her forehead against Teddy’s for another few moments, before the boy’s head fell to her shoulder; his nose against her neck eliciting a laugh. Her own head fell against his, eyes still closed and a wide smile still across her lips as she let out a contented hum, turning her head to the side to press a kiss to Teddy’s cheek.
“It is, isn’t it?” She laughed. “You’re right; we can’t let something like that useful just go unused until it’s gone. How else am I going to survive when someone’s trying to suffocate me, right?” Victoire laughed even more at Teddy’s next statement. “I thought it was called Lupri- either way, though, you were stuck with me, anyway, so I suppose it doesn’t matter all that much. After all, it’s quite difficult to shake someone as stubborn and persistent as me.”
