Plant life had slowly made its claim over the temple, with grass growing between the hardwood flooring. The walls had several holes, some worryingly big, and glycine vines had started to grow over them, clinging to the crumbling walls of one side of the temple, somehow making it look less sad, less lifeless. And of course, the huge stone altar was still there, and on top of it, a divine statue stood tall and proud, even while holding a broken sword and with varying degrees of damage on its structure. The glycine vines had also reached the statue, already flowering around its hair, and some petals were scattered around, giving the altar an ethereal quality. Like it was just another offering for the god it portrayed, and not just a coincidence. Like the whole surroundings still held love for it. Like this place was embracing its god.

So Yin Yu is the first one :D The card border was inspired by the Art Nouveau style but I'm not really sure if it turned out well or not ... lol (the flowers are moonflowers of course!)

Quanyin modern reincarnation AU
The light focused on them. The music imposed their mutual salute, then opened the battle. Yin Yu’s feet left the ground in a single, decisive push, engaging the fight as planned, carried by the dramatic notes of the guqin. His long sleeves flowed behind him, lending his movements a light, ethereal effect. With choreographed precision, his blade struck Yángyán in a clear, ringing clash. The gentle, comforting warmth of the weapon traveled up to his own guard, greeting his fingers like a soft caress from the sun. With a powerful motion, Quan Yizhen repelled the attack, then diverted the sword aside. The lament of the guqin intensified. Quan Yizhen counterattacked, feinting to the side before aiming for Yin Yu’s back. Yin Yu parried almost blindly in an impressive, highly technical movement, then turned at once to face him again, his loose braid tracing a graceful arc. The mortal’s sword described an elegant sweep, launching a new attack; his steps seemed to skim the ground. Their blades brushed one another as their faces drew close, frozen in a feigned challenge. Their duel resembled a restrained waltz, the two swordsmen circling one another, brushing past on light steps.
A slightly late drawing that was supposed to accompany my written contribution for Quanyin Week. Luckily, it's never too late ;) !

Celestial Calamities
What if :
Quan Yizhen and Yin Yu had become a pair of phantom Calamities...? Here are my own designs :) It wasn't easy, but I'm quite happy with the result!
What powers might they have, and what would their names be? :)
