Okay when requests for the others are back open, I NEED to see the scenario where the hit man/woman S/O kills 707's dad because that sounds interesting af (just for 707 ofc).
✿ Okay I could not help myself; I love writing Vega bullshit lmao.
At just about 7:45 in the morning, you yawn and haul your luggage onto an international flight bound to Grenada. Seven thinks the two of you are going on a week-long vacation to the Caribbean, and… that assumption is partially correct. Secretly, though, you’ve planned this departure from South Korea for a second, more dubious reason.
You’ve just murdered the president of South Korea, and you need to lay low for a little while.
Now, Seven doesn’t know you’ve done this. You’re actually just now coming down from the adrenaline high of assassinating him as he slept at around two in the morning. Explaining how you did it would be an absolute nightmare, since it had taken - quite literally - two straight years of planning. In fact, you’d started cooking this scheme up the moment that Seven admitted to you that he lived in constant fear of that man, fear that he’d find his illegitimate son and have him killed…
And once you learned of what Seven’s life had been like because of him, that had sealed the dael.
To be quite honest, you would have offed Seven’s mother too if you’d been given a chance, but it seems like Saeran had done the job for you a few years ago. At least… you assumed it was Saeran; you didn’t really care enough to find out who had been responsible for that horrible woman’s death. It wasn’t like you could hi-five him for it - that’d be reinforcing some terrible habits. (You sort of didn’t want him acting more like you, after all.)
But - well. No sense crying over spilled milk, particularly when what was in the carton was actually blood, and you have to admit you’re pretty pleased with yourself at the moment. You don’t even think that Seven suspected anything! You’d distracted him by giving him other things to chase after - such as… why, exactly, you were meeting with a help-group for alien abductees, the particulars about your online activities regarding vigilante hacking organization, and the deeply perplexing mystery of what you were buying him for Christmas. All just… mysteries you’d concocted for him to have fun with while you focused on your true scheme - murder.
It’s a long flight, and you sleep against Seven’s shoulder. Of course you’re tired, you haven’t slept, and he pets your hair lightly as you drift off. In this moment, you can only be happy - which is probably pretty fucked up, considering, but… hey! You didn’t accept money for it; that means it wasn’t a hit and you didn’t break any of your promises to Saeyoung, right?
The first thing Saeyoung wants to do when he’s gotten in the taxi to the hotel is check his phone, and you distract him by tracing little circles into his wrist in that way he really likes. You don’t have any illusions about keeping the fact that his dad kicked it from him, but you’re sort of hoping to at least have a little time with him before you need to navigate that particular topic.
…Besides. Wouldn’t it be fitting if he found out tomorrow - on Valentine’s Day? You did do it because you love him, after all. It is the ultimate testament to how much you care.
you have a really, really fucked up view of the world ok
It works out. When you get to the hotel, he’s not particularly interested in checking his messages if you catch my drift, and you keep him occupied pretty much through the entire night. Early the next morning though, you’re shaken awake by a panicked Saeyoung. Of course, you don’t actually take very kindly to being woken up, so you kind-of-sort-of accidentally punch him in the face, but that’s pretty routine so he doesn’t really comment on it.
He does, however, comment on the fact that his dad is dead. at length.
“wow, that sucks,” you say sleepily, and then try to bury your face in your pillow. “lemme fuckin’ sleep.”
Saeyoung emphasizes that his dad, the president of South Korea, is dead and you try to play dumb. that’s a bummer. what was it, an accident? a stroke? god raining down divine justice on him for being a massive dick?
Saeyoung scrolls through news reports his phone. Apparently, either the police hadn’t figured out about the poison you used, or that information hadn’t been released to the public yet, because all he responds with is, ‘sudden heart failure’.
you ask him how he feels, he says he doesn’t know, and as he stares out the window, a weird expression on his face, you kind-of-sort-of almost regret it.
ah fuck it, you don’t regret it at all. you do wince if he bluntly asks you if you did it, though, and you lean against the wall beside him.
You have a short, coy exchange where you ask well, how could I have done it and he’s like fucked if I know, bet I could figure it out and… you’d already planned not to lie to him, so when he presses you for the information you’re like
you killed the shit out of his father.
Seven laughs quasi-hysterically and asks you if you seriously just killed his dad for Valentines Day.
“Well, chocolates are a bit cliche and flowers make me sneeze, so…”
okay so seven is reasonably upset that you murdered his dad without telling him and, to be fair, you kind of expected that. You even offer to, y’know, go - leave forever if he’s that pissed off at you, you wouldn’t blame him if he was - and Seven asks you that key question.
“If you thought he’d be mad at you, why did you do it?”
“Because I want you to live in a world where you don’t have to be afraid. Doesn’t matter if I’m in that world or not.”
apparently you got a goddamn 20 on your charisma roll because seven says that is possibly the most romantic thing he’s ever heard, and it’s about you murdering his father.
You have a pretty long talk after that - what to do if you’re found out, how long to stay outside the country, where to go, what to do - eventually, you get on the topic of what to see as your murder of Saeyoung’s father sparks plans to travel all around the world and have a good time. You’re going to get a polaroid and a photo album. You’ll collect passport stamps. It’ll be great!
the two of you are a fucking weird couple.
He does make you promise not to kill anyone else without asking his permission first though, like - seriously, don’t fucking do it, and you ask if, like, you should get permission slips printed - y’know, like the ones they make parents sign for field trips.
Seven says you are the worst.
You say that, well, yeah. Contract killer, here. What did he expect… that you’d go around petting bunnies?
“but you do pet bunnies. you started crying once over how soft and floppy Mister Hoppsies ears were.”
“you shut right the hell up, Mister.”
Most of your Valentine’s Day is wasted talking about all these boring particulars and… uh, clearing the air, since Seven was pretty pissed for awhile there. You go to the beach around sunset and take a walk, and it’s… pretty.. romantic?
you buy him flowers. he says that it kind of pales in comparison to murdering for him. you tell him to shut up, they cost you twenty bucks.
