@vegautistic
Shut up.
Yeah, they need to be milked because you continually make them pregnant so they lactate. It’s not as if they are plagued with being 24/7 milk producers like humans did to sheep and their wool. You are fully capable of leaving these animals be, and you choose not to because you want to profit off of them.
“Cows need to be milked” yeah, by their babies. That’s why they produce milk in the first place!
okay I agree but sheep do need to be shaved, or they'll overheat..
My point in mentioning sheep is that they were bred by humans to have that need, in the same way cows have been bred to overproduce milk. We gave them these ailments for our own benefit.
I think it’s facetious to mention only part of the fact (cows need to be milked) without mentioning the rest (because humans intentionally gave them a disorder that makes them overproduce milk, which makes them dependent on humans for their comfort and survival).
Humans do not follow the cycle of nature. We kill animals enmasse, we displace species from their natural environment, we have an abundance of food that choose not to consume simply because we don’t want to, we destroy and pollute the environment, I could go on.
So it makes no sense to use the laws of nature and compare us to other animals in order to argue that it’s okay to treat our fellow creatures this way.
“But lions eat meat!” Lions aren’t keeping millions of gazelle captive, polluting the environment, and not even using all that they get from the animals they kill.
Carinists always find it so funny to trick vegans and vegetarians into eating meat. Especially if they end up thinking it tastes good.
And yet if someone were to trick them into eating some gross animal part like bull testicle or sheep brain they would freak the hell out even if they liked the taste.
Yes this is a vegan blog but I believe that feminism and veganism inherently overlap.
I just wanted to say that the vast majority of supposed “inherent differences” between (perceived) men and women are made up, and stem from the different ways we are raised, and are otherwise very much exaggerated.
Women are not inherently weaker than men. While there can be some inherent differences when it comes to estrogen-dominant bodies and testosterone-dominant, they are, again, exaggerated. Women are not encouraged to grow and use their strength, and are lied to by being told that their lack of strength is just because they’re women.
Men from a young age are made to do things that require strength, and thus grow their strength… such as moving furniture, for example. Women are oftentimes told to just stand aside.
And when women do try to get stronger… “careful! You don’t want to get too much muscle and look like a MAN do you? Haha that would be so gross!!”
Rant over. Shout out to women. Don’t let society lie to you

I’ve gotten a particular response to this. “B-b-but dairy cows are bred to hold more milk than their calves can consume! If they don’t get milked they will be in agony!”
So stop breeding them. You’ve bred them to have a potentially life threatening condition, and yet you choose to continue supporting the businesses that continue to breed them with that medical condition because you like the taste of dairy.

Hello people! Have not posted here in a hot minute. Hope you are doing well… better than me, anyways. A “friend” tricked me into consuming a large amount of dairy, and I am very sick right now.
In what world is it not cruel to slaughter another living being solely for your own personal gain?
“Why would vegans eat fake meat?! Just eat the real thing!”
Why do people consume artificial sweeteners instead of sugar? Turkey/beef bacon instead of pork bacon? Think, carnist, think!
And by the way, I have never actually been to a wedding before. 36 years of living and I’ve never actually participated in a wedding!
My boyfriend did but when we was very young, so we both don’t have much to go off of when it comes to what a “proper” wedding will be like besides, idk, cartoons and wedding drama stories?
Which is very fun, I think. Allows more room for creativity and obnoxious queerness.
Lately my boyfriend has been making me vegan fried chicken sandwiches, which were a big favorite of mine pre-veganism. His are so good…
Any chance I could marry him 15 times over?
Also, when my breasts finish growing (and stops hurting), I’m liking going to get myself a binder.
Boobs weren’t a trait I really actively wanted when I was considering going on estrogen - I don’t mind them but if I could just opt out I probably would. So I’m just gonna get a binder :P
I've been taking hrt 4 years and there has yet to be a "stop" to my breast growth and tenderness 🙁
Dang 😅 maybe I’ll get lucky?
Thank you for the insight though lol i always hear about it eventually stopping but I didn’t realize that could just… not happen
To be clear, they haven't been continously getting *larger* for the past 4 years, but the sensitivity to touch and the 'breast buds' have yet to subside. I'm hopeful they will one day, as breasts weren't ever my goal either. Now that it's winter, I layer tank tops or thin undershirts to obscure them underneath my blouse and jacket.
I may also look into any ways of reducing the sensitivity. I’ve dealt with bodily sensitivity my whole life, so it’s good to look into regardless

After making your chest sensitive and more vulnerable to harm, your plan is to harm your chest for aesthetic. Great plan dude.
Y’know what you’re so right. I should get top surgery so I can enter my transmasc era
Enjoy your nerve damage and lifelong restricted movement too, then.
I binded and has trans surgeries. They will never tell you all the risks, and trans advocacy groups will dismiss them as well. I'm telling you to lookout for your bodily health, as it's only in your best interest. I'm not shocked by transitioning, I want people who transition to be aware that doctors will literally drop you if you have any complications or health issues that they cant further bill your insurance for. Nobody is in trans services for the good of trans people. We are their cash cows and they're well aware how experimental and harmful these treatments are and that's why they abandon detransitioners.
Im fully aware of the potential risks. Anything you do to your body has the potential to harm you, especially when you are changing your actual makeup.
I’ve never had trans advocates dismiss the risks - I’ve never heard the end of them. Sorry you ended up in a bad crowd, but don’t think your experiences are universal.
I know I am potentially putting myself at risk, and I am prepared to face those potential consequences if it means getting to experience being the man I’ve always wanted to be.
Also, that applies to every industry. Welcome to captitalism - all you are is a means of increasing their money
