along for the ride now this isn't so much a protagonist as it is someone with a lack of boundaries. but hey. who am i to judge. you're here because you just are. things happen to you, you don't happen to things. there's no "fateful day", there's simply "ah, shit. here we go.". and to be fair--it truly can be so enriching, and a lot others around you might've missed out on some of these life-altering adventures you got to be a part of. but consider--you can't be a side character to your own life. whether you feel it or not, you do matter. so stop the car, or drive yourself for a little. it'll be worth it.

She remains limp and lifeless, body spread out to make it look all the more convincing. She was worried at first, if they were going to try or do anything to her upon approaching, but their words put any fears she had to ease. A bad person wouldn't say something like that. Slowly and audibly does her head turn to face them.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you." Guinevere's voice is soft as she flicks a hand gesture their way. "Thank you....for the concern. It is nice. Would you...like to sit with me?"

laramie didn't think of himself as a particularly good person—someone with a short fuse like his certainly wasn't, in his opinion. but he's self-aware enough to find a little irony in it.

" i wasn't worried." in truth, he was relieved—although a machine can be programmed to feel emotions, the difference in biology ( or lackthereof, ) meant that the constant background noise of other people's feelings didn't apply here. he could focus on his own thoughts for once.
