We need more crossover crack friendships, cause I 100% see Himiko Yumeno befriending Lindsay and Beth. Mukuro being adopted into team Escope. Izuku, Tyler, and Harold yapping together and Izuku thinking the athlete's clumsiness is a quirk. Hell, imagine Luffy and Owen having an eating contest together.
Admittedly, I only started watching One Piece cause I found out I shared the same birthday as Luffy's brother, Sabo, and read his entire wiki before caving in and watching OPLA. (And now obsessed with Usopp)
The amount of character wikis I've read before *actually* starting the anime is really funny.

The Walking Dead Game talk cause I am in DIRE need to do so.
While playing Season One, I could not hate Lily, but I also never hated Kenny. Having grown up in a community that praised Kenny while demonizing Lily, I had walked into playing it trying to keep an open mind, and found myself enjoy Lily's character.
She placed herself as a leader, and it's not like anyone else faught for the spot either, yes Kenny disagreed, but he never outright challenged her for the spot. He just gave his input on things, being more focused with caring for his family. Lily was in charge of handling food rations and when she noticed that their supplies was disappearing didn't start accusing or threaten anyone, she pulled Lee aside—someone she trusted—to act as a detective on the matter. I honestly find Lily and Lee's interactions so underrated because of how much she trusted him, enough so that if you keep her after the incident she will ask you to get Clem so they can all leave.
Granted, the story needed Lee and Clem to stay so they make her just steal it anyways. I have no doubt if telltale had the chance, they would have given us the opportunity to experience a life where they had ran away with Lily—especially when a few people feel strongly against Kenny.
Back on my main topic, I'm playing season four for the first time and I couldn't help but get flashbacks to all the posts I've seen hating on Marlon for his actions. Personally, he deserved to live. He was right about making the "right calls" because at the time it was what felt like the only good option. They were kids left alone in the apocalypse, and as the designated leader, Marlon had to think of the bigger picture; anything to make sure the kids he grew up and partially raised were safe. Even if it meant being forced to trade a few for safety.
The raiders posed a large threat to them, because what could children do against people more experienced with combat? They would be helpless, and Marlon knew that. Marlon even mentions that if he were less cowardly he would have orchestrated a rescue for the twins. It's just the weight of being the leader (the grief of all those they lost, 30 or so children as he mentioned) and being the one everyone relied on became too much, and Marlon didn't know how to ask for help.
Nothing I say is meant to excuse any action he committed, because he was in the wrong and deserves punishment, but I wish he stuck around to be able to prove himself worthy of being called a leader once more.
I also really liked Marlon's interactions with Clem before the incident, they were really sweet and you could tell he was pretty genuine.

Crack idea I came up with, but an au where Buggy goes to Syrup Village shortly after Banchina passes and finds Usopp going around town saying pirates are coming. Later realizing this is the kid of one of Shank's crew and deciding to keep him (but also cause the kid knew how to make really fun stories, and have you seen his aim?!).
I feel like it would make for an interesting fic, especially when Usopp inevitably leaves the Buggy Pirates to join Luffy (who wears Shank's—and Roger's—straw hat).
I think my favorite genre of "why do you like this character?" Is when it's for a silly/non serious reason, like because you share a birthday or because of their color scheme.

I just remembered that 3 years ago (senior year) I did this valentine's matchmaking thing for fun cause it was my last year & I didn't think I would be picked. Anyways, I was given a match, given instructions to meet this teacher and accidentally met my match before we were meant to meet, and immediately hit it off. When the teacher came to collect one of us, they asked if we've met before, which we obviously said "No." This surprised said teacher cause we apparently gave off the vibes of people who knew each other since forever. Anyways, on valentine's day we were pulled from class to participate in this escape room—which we successfully completed! (While doing it wrong) Honestly, it was really fun and I was even interviewed afterwards for my school's newspaper.
Oh, and the cherry on top was that both my match and I were on the aro-spec. Which we both thought was the funniest thing ever. Like, imagine being aro, doing a valentine's matchmaking thing for the hell of it, only to get paired with another aro person. (They only asked about what gender you were and what gender you would be preferred to be matched with)

HELP I FOUND THIS IN MY DRAFTS
Magical girl series where the "villains" have been watching a bunch of universes villains be defeated by magical school girls and decide they want to prove those worlds wrong by defeating magical girls. Only they can't find a suitable group because all the other ones are experienced, and they rather have one that gains that experienced. So instead of giving up, they hatch a plan to make their own magical girl team by having one of them be the "mentor" figure—that way they can be updated on the team's progress and plan accordingly.
They make magical relics to give them the magical girl abilities and plant them, in hopes that teenage girls find them and fulfill their newly dubbed duties... Only for the ones to find them are teenage boys. So it ends up being a SheZow situation where (since it was supposed to be magical girls) the teenage boys become pretty magical girls. At least it helps save their identities! (The villains plans changed slightly, but they're rolling with the punches!)
Oh and by the end, at least one of them comes out.
