I finally draw my #1 all time favorite fandom, novel, character, etc (god help me) Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint my beloved I normally just draw the references to get used to drawing the character and how I stylize them

Also, scar supremacy because it's the APOCALYPSE

TLDR - Paul becomes flesh man with the Heart Blight and we spend the entire session fighting him. Earl (my feathery horned guy) may have gotten stuck on him for several turns....) Session Notes: Session 7 Johnny brings Paul (NPC) into Chimera's shop and placed him on the table. Explained the orange smoke, the eye looking like him and Paul getting infected. Chimera and Tenebris confirms the afflicted has Heart Blight in a late stage.

Paul suddenly starts growing. Earl pulls out his dagger. After Paul says thank you to Johnny, he starts constantly growing bulbous skin. Earl contests against Tenebris and Chimera to stab Paul, Paul does not react.

After Johnny starts to get attacked, Earl and the rest hear the roar and run in (other than Aspen and Chimera). Earl rams into the monster and gets himself stuck. It hurt a lot on contact, but adrenaline kicked in. He got stuck and got more stuck by embedding his head horns through Paul's shoulders whilst stuck on his back.  Once pulled off, he stabs it with his dagger in the heart and it becomes immobile. Jack finishes it off with the artifact dagger.

Earl's back and head horns are covered in blood and orange goo. Everything hurts and he's completely silent on the sidewalk after all of that.

Change: Apparently the artifact around Earl's neck was supposed to do something, but DM forgot about it Changed to grabbing at his leg instead!

Random tiny rant

Trying to actually get income

so-called entry level jobs ask for experienced people instead though, and like, that just leaves me unable to actually try getting work experience and get good at it

considering they won’t even let me try. This shit sucks man.

My HC is that John Grace is also Reprieve (I just realized in the art I spelled it wrong. Kill me-) and Zen. The gamemodes are different ways to confront sins. Like how Reprieve is a confessional booth where John must acknowledge the sins upfront. Zen is a training method to not fall into Sin's temptation for however long you can. Normal Sinner's mode is to make sure they cannot ever touch him. He shall not commit otherwise his body is forced to reset via death. His body's state as that vessel is now full of Sin, so his body must reset. However, scars stay as a reminder to what happens to those who fall into Sin's embrace. I didn’t think I’d make abominations to this level, but I was given prime opportunity to turn a normal human guy into this fucked up monstrosity.

Lore Bit

CBL is built as a lone iterator due to a group of ancients diverging from the original group. They believe the answer to ascension is instead in the stars. Their whole belief system was to ascend to being a "Sleeping God" and provide life on another world like the sun does to their own. CBL was built for researching the stars and ways to ascend into godhood, essentially. His structure is more spire-like and is built inside of the mountains. To focus more on his tasks, he was programmed to forget most things except for his purpose and some functionalities if he saw an Ancient. So by time the Mass Ascension happened, he had amnesia and was alone in a desolate cave. He doesn't fully understand what he is, just that he researches the stars and any relevant information in his Memory Arrays that was allowed to stay. (He's not even aware his own body is a Puppet, just that he is attached to machinery that he can interact with. He thinks nothing of it.)

His secondary purpose was that he is capable of creating organisms. Plant and animal. The ancients were fully supportive of preserving life and creating life on other planets. It's unknown if he made anything during his time when Ancients were still around, but he certainly can make stuff now! So he basically uses the materials to continuously make new life in the cave he's stuck in, it's dubbed Starblight Grotto, and after a lot of trial and error (things dying and melting), he eventually has a fully flourished region.

I found out that the choker stuck on me is actually an artifact we need to collect and give to someone (I’m cooked, it’s glued into my skin!!)
