█║♚ THIS WAS AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER. she had been at the vet and she was getting her bestie all healed up from a rather intense battle over the yarn ball, when she decided that she and her friend needed a little walk around the area outside of her house. she got out of the house and let the fellow cat out behind her and everything was going fine until it’s mischevious nature kicked in and she ended up toppling over, falling flat on the floor and hitting her face into the dirt. she looked up.

there in the front of another shop was a rather mean looking man, who didn’t know he was about to be tailed down by her friend in a matter of a minute if she didn’t move from her spot. yvonne kicked to her feet and ran after her friend, a small chant escaping her lips as she tried to await refuge for what would happen in just a few moments to come.

█║♚ SHE WAS GOING TO HECKIN’ SEE IT. a sight like that was something she wouldn’t just let herself get away from! it was almost as if destiny wanted her to go through this mission, and see the false santa claus go through eternal enlightenment. it was like sylvia was melinda from the ghost whisperer, and this santa claus zombie was her helping it into the light! 

it was a weird thought, but a good one, and she was content with it being a good one. she didn’t know if it was a good idea, though, and to know she needed to touch the girl’s hand so she would have a good idea about how strong she was so that if she had to run her back was covered. so she walked towards sylvia stanwood, and she held out her hand to be shaken.

                             ❝ i’ll be able to withstand it !! don’t worry about me, sylvia. if                          anything bad happens my fast catty reflexes will kick in and i’ll be                                  gone with the wind. i’m like, ben affleck playing bat man,                                          but a bootleg version because i’m horrible !! ❞

       OH; her actions made him frown. For why did she need to act like that? He isn’t about to punish her for this nonsense. A gentle hum escapes his lips as she talks, something to express his irritation. OH, how he could almost sense steam rolling from his ears as he suppresses his need to throw a box of band-aids at her to get her out his hair faster. One day a kid is dying and the next I get the kindergartner telling me she scraped herself….

      “ So, let me get this straight. You chased a butterfly, scraped yourself up just a little bit. From how you phrased that, do I have the right to assume you have healing properties that could heal your wounds in moments? “ He almost taps his left foot slightly on the ground with his arms crossed. “ And if that’s true you have no real reason to be here in the infirmary? “

█║♚ OH NO OH NO OH NO HE LOOKED MAD. she didn’t like that, it was making her nervous. plus, she had kind of underexaggerated just how bad it was, so now what she said didn’t match up with how bad she was hurt. was she going to bleed out and die?! she kicked her legs out a bit to look calm but winced and let out a small sound as she felt glass imbedded into the muscle of her leg. she rolled up her pantleg and looked at the blood, her tongue darting out as her nose filled with copper.

                   ❝ i---i just need you to reach in there and pull a shard of glass                        out and then i’ll be on my way, i guess. sorry about this, i                   know it’s not that big of a deal. i would do it myself, but the smell                    of copper is overloading my senses so i can’t really concentrate. ❞

    There’s almost a gentle sigh as she hears her whine. The poor doctor rubs his temples, before recovering quickly to look at the other. “Why would I use needles? There are so many ways to handle an issue before we use get to ‘shots’.” There’s a groan as he offers a hand.

     “ Please, just stop being a loud and tell me why you were sent here. It makes my job easier. “ He offers her a seat on the padded table in the room so she could calm down, being as patient as possible. Glasses fall from his hair to rest on his nose awkwardly, only to be quickly adjusted.

█║♚ CRAP HE CALLED HER OUT. she wasn’t okay with this. she sat down stiffly, gulping as she took in deep gulps of breath. her anxiety was acting up as much as possible, it seemed, and her tail flickered back and forth swiftly, her ears twitching and her nose scrunching and unscrunching as if she had something in particular she wanted to say, but also didn’t want to say. she whispered the words, embarrassed.

                          ❝ i--i.... i went chasing after a butterfly and i landed in a                    sharp area, so i got a bunch of cuts all over me. but ‘s fine, i                                                   can just go sleep it off. ❞

OH, THAT MADE SENSE. was what a certain part of her brain told her, but another part screamed that this was seriously messed up, and she needed to get out immediately. but a huge part screamed that she should stay by and watch all of this fold out, and since yvonne was an irrational person, she was going to obviously follow the train of thought that was most likely to get her killed. 

❝i--i want to go too, if that’s okay with you! i wanna see how this works, i guess, and i trust you not to kill me a little bit more now that you’ve explained yourself... but is that not santa claus? if not, why hasn’t he visited in a while? i miss him and his presents...❞ she sighed, ruffling her hair with small dainty fingers, ready to die from the shaking-ness of her hands.

❝th--that’s okay, right? if not, i can just go back to my dorms and hope i actually meet my roommate eventually. i’m starting to think they don’t exist and are just figments of my imagination.❞ she sighed another time, something she seemed to be doing often, and moved forward, smiling at squinting her eyes to see the girls face in the dark.  ❝i’m yvonne, by the way. yvonne rosenblum.❞

      Well, he certainly looked neater than he normally did on most days. He seemed more into the work he was doing, which was really just organizing. His hair was pulled up better than it normally was, his hair held up by what seemed to be rope (which those that knew him wouldn’t be surprised; his hair seems to function on its own wishes).

       Shuffling around the infirmary as he organizes shelves, he seems lost in thought. Oddly multitasking his organization with the thoughts of what he wanted to eat later the day. The poor doctor seemed to suffer with how often he was on the clock, considering most incidents on campus were something he handled within brief moments. Railen’s gaze fell to his hands to read the labels, before quickly shuffling around to place set stuff down.

SHE DIDN’T KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED. all she knew was it just did, and here she was being escorted by a classmate from the gym class towards the nurses station, which she desperately hated. she was shivering in her boots. as part cat, she had learned to be against going anywhere near them, since she had to get special shots for herself. what usually applied to humans had to be modified a bit to match her genetic makeup, and she just hated the prickle in general.

so when she was brought in front of the nurse she was shaking in her boots, staring up at him with something akin to tears in her eyes as she spoke up,  ❝p--please don’t stab me with needles, sir! i--i’m too young to die like this!❞

THANK GOODNESS SHE WASN’T GOING TO BE KILLED. she was kinda grateful she stuck around to listen before she got too far into running away and called the campus people on her. she didn’t want an innocent girl to be in trouble because yvonne herself couldn’t keep a little bit of fear to herself! she stood back up and dusted their skirt off.

walking a bit closer, she studied the face of the zombie, which was weirdly human but deteriorated, which freaked her out a bit more. she looked between them as if she was trying to put the pieces together, and she shook her head at herself once she realized that she was dealing with something really messed up.

❝...so....w--what is going on with that weird dude zombie thing in a santa costume? did he fall off of the sleigh or something?! is it really santa right there?! is that why i haven’t gotten presents since i turned thirteen?! what the hell, santa?!❞

WHAT THE HELL!? did she just see what she thought she saw? she probably did considering it was a school for those who were otherworldly. her ears twitched and she moved forward, walking through the soil and shivering at the disgusting sensation of dirt under her feet. she would have to take a bath later. when she finally got to her destination, she was appalled to see a redhead raising someone in a santa claus suit from the dead. was this an assignment for her?! yvonne didn’t know, and didn’t want to find out anytime soon.

                                                       she turned around, ready to flee, but a couple of steps in she tripped on a gravestone and fell face first in the mud, making a loud sound. she quickly shook her head, trying to rid herself of all of the excess dirt, and she turned around, meeting the eyes of a confused looking necomancer. she waved her hands around frantically, sweat building up on her features, as she blurted out the first couple of words she could think of.

❝p--please don’t kill me and make me your necomancery slave! i’ll do whatever you ask just please don’t suffocate me with santa!❞

SHE SAT UP AT THE SIGHT OF HER TEACHER. she was rather intimidating looking at first, but after a while you got to know how soft she was around people of her house. ziarae was a good teacher and she loved her classes. she especially loved the fact that others in her class couldn’t answer questions that she could sometimes, which would lead to brownie points, and upping her teachers viewpoint of her. she nodded her head when she sat down and kept her head tucked low, shyness creeping into her then and there.

❝i--i don’t mind, miss ziarae.. it--it’s a really nice day, indeed!❞ her ears twiched as she saw a fly buzzing around and it came towards her. she swiped her hand out a couple of times at it, until she finally caught it in her palm and she looked utterly embarrassed when she realized that her catlike tendencies had kicked in.  ❝p--please pretend you never saw that.❞

YVONNE LET OUT A SIMPLE SIGH. the flowers seemed too beautiful to pick, she thought as her ears let out little twitches. she brought herself closer to it, kneeling down to smell the great daisies that were currently blooming around the area. she had grown attracted to the place, which was odd enough, considering her weird fixation on being anywhere but outside recently. maybe the weather was finally neutral enough for her to bear. she leaned down and laid on the floor on the grass, and looked up to the sky, falling asleep then and there.

I’M HERE AND I’M QUEER!                                              its me, ash! i’m sixteen and i use they/he pronouns, though i prefer they/them if you don’t know me as well as other people do! my oc here is named yvonne! i have many different verses for her that i have to put together, but please be aware that i also run a lot of other blogs, so my activity here may be spotty in comparison to how active i usually am. plus, if you’ve read my rules you know i have bipolar disorder type I, and they’re currently trying to get my mood in check but for the time being i still have swings, so i can suddenly be bursting through replies for a while and then fall short because of mental health. anyway! some things you should know about yvonne will be listed below before i end it with a starter call!
