#i drew like this a lot in my sketchbooks around the time i was developing psychotic symptoms #part of it was that i didnt want to use fresh pieces of paper if i didnt have to because many of these doodles werent worth fresh pages #but also part of it was the idea of having overlapping images and characters in various densities #could potentially create a sort of pareidolic secondary layer of subconscious or spiritual origin #it was like creating a mass of noisy lines and expressions and symbols and trying to see what meaning arose out of it #it was not extraordinarily successful using images like this however #ive had better results with overlapping letters/characters/symbols to produce unconscious meanings

i dont think ive talked about uziel on this blog yet but other than the baphomet triplets (nocifer/bloodtongue/maggotsun) ts probably my favorite character in my hell story... its an enormous fallen seraph that wallows in an endless dimension of rot and filth and its nearly immeasurable power spontaneously generates ambient angelic hosts and all the demons and great lords of hell are scared of going anywhere near it but instead of doing anything cool or spectacularly evil it just wallows and pities itself and moans about how it once knew the face of poiesis its like incredibly scary but also tragic due to the sheer magnitude of wasted potential
