    Her lip curled a bit at the corner and held her hand out in return. Its better to help one another in this time. And it’s better to make friends than enemies. Despite how hard that may be. 

    “I’m fine. I’m not always the stablest. I blame that on learning to function in any situation, y’know?” She shrugs and heads down the attic stairs and for the kitchen. It smells awful. Like old rotten food. Not as bad as the smell of walkers but still not pleasant. 

    Ellie jumps and sits on a counter top while she lets Clem scavene around for some food. She really doesn’t remember the last time she ate. So she has no idea if theres any food here. But theres probably something that isn’t spoiled. Like a can of beans or so.

    Ellie was watching Clem with those blue eyes. Closely. Friendly and all but... She still of course had to stay on guard. As always. 

    “God you’re right.” Ellie laughed at the comment about stablility and bounced her heels against the wooden cabinets. She looked around the room while Clem was busy stuffing her bag with the cans. 

    “I try not to instigate. So long as you don’t belong to that disgusting.. Religion cult... I’m probably the friendliest person you’ll meet. I figured out a while ago that uneccessary violence is well, uneccessary.” Ellie smiled and shrugs her shoulders before hopping off the cabinet. “You also remind me of someone I grew up with. So maybe you’ve tapped into a soft spot. Who knows, right?”
