hi. hi. hi. so as i said in my taziversary post last year this is a p special time period for me - on april 19th, 2016, i turned 23 years old and drove to western mass to see a friend’s thesis presentation, and the very next day i started listening to the adventure zone. this is a fic abt the adventure zone! and the end of the adventure zone. and my relationship to the adventure zone in a weird way. but it’s also abt merle and taako discussing their feelings, and i can’t think of a better day to post merle fic than 4/20. so! i hope you enjoy!

Today we talk about Jaime Reyes: the third Blue Beetle, who never asked for a weird blue scarab to fuse to his spine and telepathically try to convince him to murder Green Lanterns every time they cross paths.
Today we discuss the Young Avengers! A superhero team made up of a bunch of kids that aren’t actually related to or endorsed by the Avengers, even though they go by things like “Iron Lad” and “Hulkling”.
Today we discuss Clint Barton: Hawkeye, Goliath for a bit, and Ronin for a bit between deaths. If you take anything from this episode let it be that Clinton Francis Barton is a mess of a man.
Today we talk about T'Challa, the Black Panther and King of Wakanda. First we cover 50 years of comics history and then we discuss the recently released Marvel film (we’ll warn you when spoilers start happening if you haven’t seen it yet). But, spoiler alert: We really enjoyed the movie.
Today we talk about one of our favorite teen superhero groups: Runaways! The basic pitch is it’s about teens and found families. The longer pitch is that it’s about six teens (at first) who find out that their parents are evil and run away, all while trying to figure out how to deal with their new discoveries and take down their parents.
In this episode we talk about Damian Wayne: Bruce Wayne’s biological son who was genetically engineered by his mother to be A Perfect Assassin, but became Robin instead, mostly alongside Dick Grayson’s Batman.
Today we talk about Stephanie Brown: Spoiler, Robin (briefly, before she dies terribly), Batgirl, and then Spoiler again once DC Comics decided that in their reboot she’d always been Spoiler and you should forget about all the other stuff because it didn’t happen in this canon. We also briefly talk about how much Dan Didio hates teen superheroes.
