Didn’t catch the Giants last weekend in San Fran but got to see them in Anaheim yesterday play against the Angels. Angel stadium was a great host- about 2/3 red and 1/3 Orange in the crowd last night. 4/21/2018 (at Angel Stadium of Anaheim)

Golden Gate Bridge. We photographed it. Recorded it. Took photos in front of it. Crossed it. Smiled at it. Yelled at it. It’s real. Not the kind photoshopped in a calendar or puzzle. We acted like real SoCal tourists freezing near the windy bay- also, when I said I was going to pack lightly for a two day trip, I meant I was going to wear everything that didn’t fit in the one luggage. When u quietly leave work to get married, take off to Alcatraz for your birthday weekend, go back to work and don’t tell anyone it’s ur bday bcuz you sort of forgot that Monday was your actual bday, and then come home to a surprise party from your family and can’t handle the attention: this picture sums up how everything felt. Here’s to 29- my last twenty. The last year to feel young before I become an old fart. Life has been interesting in these twenties, it’s a combination of feeling like a heartbroken, pathetic teenager while transitioning to the mature 30 year old society would like you to be and still feeling confused in between from the questions you still have for life. It’s been a roller coaster of changes through circumstances, emotions, lessons, choices, and all that in between and I appreciate every moment that has helped me grow and every lesson I continue to learn. 4-11-2003 was the day I first kissed Brian and we became a couple. I’ve been through the best with him having a son together, we’ve been through the toughest challenges together and apart, and we have survived it all up to this point. Many years side by side we have accepted how we both share some traditional views but we can both agree we are not conventional people. We had never been married, you can say we have always been spiritually linked, but never established that principle of being lawfully wed even after a child. We have raised our son together through thick and thin, through love and hate, through smiles and tears, through happiness and anger and all emotions in between. 15 years later we both came to conclusion it was time to grow up. Our son continues to be the center of both of our hearts and that’s where we will always live united. This year Brian proposed to me in front of our parents on new year’s eve asking for a new beginning and new chapter, and I accepted. A month and a half later on valentine’s day, he asked me again intimately holding his mother’s ring to give me and that’s when I realized this was really happening. We decided to get our marriage notarized April 11 on the day this journey began same place where my parents did back in 1988. I think we both thought we were doing this in jeans and a black t-shirt and then we would take care of an actual wedding in the future. My mom convinced me to dress properly for this occasion and we had a ceremony and I thank her for that because you never know if your family will still be around to witness the future plans. I was sad my youngest brother was not going to be with us on this day because of work, but he managed to walk in the door and surprise us. Our hearts were full and I felt at peace having our parents and brothers with us and having our son witness this moment. Here’s to a different era that continues to be filled with surprises, laughter, adventure, support, and most importantly friendship, growth, and love.🥂❤️ (at Rosemead, California)
