HOLY SHIT... The Misfit Class' performance lasted 15 MINUTES. 15 MINUTES OF MOVIE-QUALITY, SMOOTH-BABY-CHEEKED, SPINNING-SHOTS-GALORE GOODNESS. THEY USED ROTOSCOPING, so real dancers actually performed the dances behind the scenes, producing animation so fluid!!!!
There were at least 5 spinning shots. FIVE. CINCO. AT LEAST.
Like look at this. Look at Elizabetta's portrayal of Lilith... This was just the OPENING ACT you guys, and this is just a GIF!!! The music and her singing voice was so enchanting. I wish I had a music background, because they put so many details with the music and instrumentals alone. Speaking of music...
IRUMA SLIDING HIS FINGERS ACROSS THE KEYBOARD!!! The technique??? Like, is he even making mistakes here? Are these really the hands of an amateur? (Legitimate question for piano players). Not featured above, but the particular sequence he also played during Alice's scene is so prettyyyy you gotta see it!!
I'm so proud of him and his ever-growing self-confidence. And the black nail polish he's wearing really adds to the great visuals.
NOW THIS IS A SYNCHRONIZED DANCE
The bodies feel like there's weight to every movement! It doesn't feel like a copy-paste of bodies either? Like you can see their personalities or their dance experience level in the hell dance proper.
From the innocent Aleph (played by Lied) to the bold Khet (played by Sabnock), from the playful intonation of Clara to the icy rationales of Kerori, every Misfit had their time to shine!
I must admit that I don't have much experience with other Music Festival anime episodes. But like, if one's comparing this to the usually stellar and high-budgeted Bones' rendition of BNHA's 4-minute musical band performance... It's evident how much Bandai Namco Pictures CHOSE to give this part depth and substance far beyond what the manga had offered.
To be fair, music performances seem to be Nishi-sensei's bread and butter. (MAKES ME MORE EXCITED FOR THE EVIDOL ARC.) Very happy that every scene of the Hell Dance performance was given so much thought, personality-wise and music-wise and dance-wise and lighting-wise... (GOOD GOD THE COMPOSITING)

Jazz's movements are so entrancing, like that of a snake that his character usually embodies or is connected to. And the way his arm slips up and over Elizabetta's arm and shoulder, before his hand rests on her cheek. I NEED THE ORIGINAL LIVE ACTION FOOTAGE REFERENCE.

A random influencer decided he'll listen to an anti cancer song on loop. People liked it enough times he ended up listening for 9 days.
He raised 90 million in these 9 days, and then 160 million more over the last 10 hours, for a total of 250 million.
Hundreds and thousands of people signed up to donate marrow.
Hundreds of celebrities shaved their heads in solidarity.
The Foundation receiving this money had to create a special commission to figure out how to distribute the money.
The national TV stations got highjacked to stream this for hours because it was better news than anything happening in the world.
Because we broke and DOUBLED the world record for this kind of thing.
They raised about as much as the biggest running charity event in Poland did in a whole year with three decades of tradition and a goddamn army of people.
And they did it on a goddamn amateur set up in a shabby room sitting on folding chairs.
Little update: people keep donating despite the stream being over. We're at 280 million in the fight against cancer.
Ĺatwogang refuses to collab with companies that only reached out to him now because of popularity or give interviews. He said any medals people wanna give them should go to the doctors and nurses and the cancer patients.
Someone offered to renovate that shabby little flat for him as a thank you. He refused.
Someone counted up how many people appeared in that room during the whole thing - it was 319 total.
AU where Midoriya Izuku pursues a fashion degree after Heroics school because he won't DARE half-ass All Might fashion merch production once Yagi had made it known that he's thinking of passing the Mighty Agency down to him.

The things that are happening right now in Polish Internet and not only Internet, are unbelievable and in a good way. An influencer Ĺatwogang has been streaming and raising money on YouTube for kids with cancer without breaks for 8 days. During those 8 days there have been multiple other influencers, actors, musicians, athletes and I donât know who else, who came to his small apartment, there were phone calls with celebrities on this live stream. There were TV stations doing live interviews. People are shaving their heads. There were more universes than in fucking Marvel. Right now Ĺatwogang raised over 80 mln PLN (about 22 mln dollars) and beat the fucking world record. Apart from that he is such a good fucking person and to do something like this takes a lot of physical and mental strength. And the goodness in people is unbelievable. How they can come together and do something good. Itâs the middle of the night in Poland right now and itâs still going on, multiple people are in his apartment singing, there are and were people standing in queue in the corridor, waiting to get in. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE. I am so moved right now and itâs the best thing that has ever happened in Polish Internet. It brings back hope.
