Theyre letting us wear shorts til labor day - but the qualifications for mens vs womens shorts is FUCKED UP. Everyone male in OPD/OGP wearing SHORT SHORTS. Shorts we women would get reprimanded for wearing. Its so fucking dumb.

I have to be there when we fire an associate for attendance. He shows up late constantly, usually "i slept in" or something simple and correctable, and im told by the coaches he needs to be fired and i knowwwwww im gonna tear up, choke up when im in that office firing him. I feel so bad. Hes a great worker, he just is late almost every single day by almost an hour. And especially with his ability as a worker, they feel robbed of his ability by him being late. Understandable. But did anybody vollunteer to ask him why hes late or ask him if hes okay? Or maybe giving a fuck about this dude as a person regularly? There could be things we dont know that are contributing to his lateness or unmotivation (maybe he doesnt like his position anymore?) That was neglected before it was decided that he should be let go. If my input had mattered at all, i wish any personal info i DID know about this guy would have been taken into consideration. I feel terrible and it wasnt even my decision. It was actually against my decisions because i had been clearing his late points knowing that this good worker would never have a crappy pointless reason to show up late. I know i can be a pushover as a manager sometimes but nothing makes me feel worse than taking someones livelihood away from them.
