OOC: Asks open!
"Tigris Snow? I don't think we've met. I'm Venus Flickerman."
( @venus-flickerman-offical )
(Ooc: if you want this to be tbosas era, Venus is Lucky's daughter rather than granddaughter.)
“Yes, that’s me! Good evening! It’s a pleasure to meet you, Venus. You’re the weatherman’s daughter, right? How can I help?”
"I am, yeah. He's planning his Hunger Games interviews and he wanted to know if you'd do a pre Games special, about becoming the first official stylist of the Games, and introducing the idea of stylists for the tributes for this year." She hesitates. "I wanted to do it before my brother got around to asking, because well, I really liked your designs for last year's Games."
"Oh! Thank you so much, that's very kind of you to say. I'm especially glad to hear it coming from you. Fabricia Whatnot, my boss, she really likes you, you know. And I'd be... honored to do an interview, truly. Designing for the Games has been..." She stopped then, swallowing, like she was chewing over her words. "Eye-opening."
She cleared her throat. "Sorry. Who is your brother?"
She rolls her eyes. "Caesar. Fabricia designed that blue suit with lights on it for him, for the Reaping parties."
She does seem happy Fabricia likes her. "What's it like, designing for the Games? You actually get to meet the tributes."
"That was for him? Last year?" She laughed faintly. "I did the attaching stitches on half of those lights."
Her face fell a little at the question. "It's a very new experience. You learn a lot more about the districts through the tributes, since you have to spend so much time with them. They seem so backward by our standards, and somehow not that different at all. Makes me think."
She didn't elaborate on what. Instead, she smiled and focused back in on Venus's face.
"You know, I don't have to keep working for Fabricia. With the Games stylist job all lined up, I mean. I suppose I just never expected a fashion career to come through something like that. Are you interested in that sort of thing, Venus?"
"Very much so. I'm not into entertainment, not like my father or Caesar." She sighs. "When the possibility of stylists was introduced last year, I thought it's a career I shall like to pursue once I finish my education."
"The Districts are very interesting, yes. It kust be an honor learning about them. I went to District 1 on a school trip last year, and it was amazing!"
"Was it? It must be a beautiful place, even still rebuilding. My cousin saw a bit of District 12 one summer. He didn't like it very much, though I'm sure District 1 is quite different. What was the school trip for?"
"We were learning about where our luxury items came from." She tilts her head. "Your cousin is in the government, isn't he? Coriolanus, right?"
Tigris's face turned a bit strained, though she kept her smile. "Yes, he is," she said. "He's just starting out, but he has big ambitions. Our grandmother always used to say he'd be president, and now it seems he's really going to make a go for it. Strange how differently we turned out. How have you heard of him?"
"Oh, yes, I have. He's only 3-ish years older than me, from what I've heard. I remember him in school." She says. "Much like that, our Caesar is the one with big ambitions. He's my mother's pride and joy."
"He's memorable." She smiled a little. "We're in the same boat, then, aren't we? Well, I... wish you luck for your stylist career."
"Thank you. I shall tell my father you'll do the interview. His assistant will contact you in the next few days." Venus beams. "Could I get your autograph?"
"Please do!" She looked a bit flustered. "Sure. Thank you."
She pulls out a notebook from her coat pocket, flipping through pages of signatures from famous people. The latest page has Mags signature, after she won the 11th Annual Hunger Games. "I should have a pen somewhere...."
"That's quite a collection," Tigris laughed, a little surprised. "Who have you got?"
"A few Victors.... the President...... the Heads of most government departments but that's because I'm in school with their kids..... a few general celebrities...." She murmurs, flicking through the filled pages. "I started when I was about six, so there's over a decades worth of signatures."
"Impressive collection. I'm honored you think I'm worthy to be added to it. How old are you again?"
"17. I'll be 18 in February." She finally finds a pen, offering it to Tigris. "The 4th to be exact."
Tigris took the pen and carefully signed the blank page she was offered with her full name.
"Big year. Well, it has been wonderful to meet you, Venus. Thank you. And if you find yourself still stuck on stylist dreams, please, feel free to contact me. Actually, here..."
She gestured to be given the notebook again and scratched a number down beside her signature.
"That's a business number. You can give it to your father, too, or his assistant. For the interview."
"Oh! Thank you so much." She looks at the page with an awestruck expression.
“Best of luck!”
"Thank you. Perhaps I shall see you soon."

"Tigris Snow? I don't think we've met. I'm Venus Flickerman."

Venus looks up, taking in the blood with mild disgust. She's not surprised at the use of her name, after all, she comes from a rather well known family. Her grandfather and uncle have both hosted the Hunger Games at different points in time. She hopes to get into the Games industry someday as well, although as a stylist rather than a host.
With a sigh, she pulls out a monogrammed handkerchief from her bag, handing it over. "Keep it. I don't want it back. Who slammed a door in your face?"
" No idea, i think it was cordelia she never looks where shes going "he said tilting his head back to stop the bleeding as wiped fhe blood off his hands . " its nice to meet you i mean as nice as the circumstances can allow " he said .
"I suppose it is nice to meet you too," she replies in a tone that says she does mot think it nice at all but was raised with manners and standards. "You're the banker man's son, correct?"
" Yes, you must be flicker ceaserman's niece .And i would appreciate it if you didn't take that tone with me. Thank you very much, " he said curtly, being passive-aggressive, although part of him was intrigued . Most people liked him, so why didn't she like him.
"Caesar Flickerman." She mutters, correcting him under her breath. She looks to see droplets of blood on her shoes, and sighs. "Do you need me to bring you to seek medical aid?"
" im perfectly capable of walking on my own my nose is broken not my feet . What have I even done to you to warrant that abysmal attitude of yours " he asked crossing his arms .
"You're arrogant." She says offhandedly. "And standoffish. And just generally don't come across as rather nice. Do you want me to keep going?"
"Wow, what a sound assessment of my charecter from the absloute 2 minutes I've talked to you . It's not like you're any better, " he said sarcastically , leaning close to her .
"I am better." She replies, glaring at him, crossing her arms. "It's not difficult. The bar is low."
He scoffed, finally managing to stop the bleeding .he smiled a not at all pleasent smile. " You barely know me flickerman its not my fault you barely tolerate anyone apart from your pathetic little friends.
"Oh please! I have eyes and ears. You're not hard to miss, strutting around like the arrogant that you are." She snaps back. "And at least my friends like me."
" First of all, I dont strut second of all my friends like me too. Your friends want something from you. Listen, i dont want to hate you, but you seem determined to hate me. What did I even do to you? " he said, rolling his eyes .
"I don't hate you." She says with this fake smile. "I just moderately dislike you."
" again what have I done to warrant this to you specifically my attitude is for everyone i have never spoken to you till today " he said leaning against the wall .
"Oh but you have. A few years back. Indirectly. One thing you should know about me, is that I'm petty." She shrugs. "I heard the comment about me being a loud mouthed idiot when we were... nine-ish. Did you think you were funny?"
He takes a moment to stare at her in disbelif his mouth open .he let's out a small laugh of disbelif " i . Was . nine . " he said placing emphasis on each and every word like you would do to explain something to a small child ." WHY are you still holding onto that in the name of all thats good and sane how do you even function " he asked more amused then annoyed now .
"So? You were being horrible!" She scoffs. "I don't expect you to understand, everyone and their mother knows you're emotionally constipated."
" People change from 9 to 18, by the way . But apparently you don't you've always been the same self absorbed little small minded annoyance you've always been " he said gritting his teeth .
"As if you can judge anyone on being self absorbed. You probably have the term patented." Venus replies sweetly.
" ok two can play at that game . Remeber the time you pushed me off the swing when we were 4 or how about the time you gave me that really bad cold when we were 10 .I can keep going my memory is as long as yours sweetheart " he said matching her tone of mock sweetness .
"I shall except the fact I pushed you off the swing, but I am not at fault for the fact that you had a weak immune system." She rolls her eyes. "And don't call me that."
" You sneezed on me. i suppose all the money in the world can't buy good manners . sweetheart," he says smiling " ill do whatever I like sweetheart " he says smirking
"I have manners!" She protests. "You're an arrogant brat."

Hes also stubborn as fuck a combination of him being his parents only kid and also being a smart ass .
Hes a little shit .
( ooc )
ooc: Technically she's got older brothers but she's the youngest, and only girl born in the family in three generations, so she's a little spoilt. (Like a lot). Which is why she's allowed become a stylist, if she wants, although everyone sees it as more a hobby, not real, job.
