His symbol is a heart because he likes to play the conqueror, always flirting.

I spent far too much time making this menu, but here they are! The Rogues-inspired coffees which I am using in my coldflash fan fic: Just Friends. Only one of them can win the competition and become a permanent drink on the Jitters menu, and it’s up to you guys to decide which one it will be.

How would "my love" or "my warrior" be in Trigedasleng? Or do grounders have specific names like those to call to their significant ones? Thank you!! :)

You could say ai niron for “my love”. My warrior would be ai gona. I actually get this question a lot for pretty much every language I do, but, to be honest, terms of endearment are never at the top of my list. They’re hardly ever asked for on any of the shows I work on, and for my own work, I tend to work on functional stuff (more verb types that I can copy later so that I can get the grammatical patterns of the language down—or more exemplars for a particular pattern so I can cement it and not forget about it), or words that help to flesh out the world (plants, animals, types of clothing, types of implements, etc.). Castithan, from Defiance, probably has more of these types of words than any language I’ve ever done, just because they tend to get used a lot. Other than that, I’ve got like none. :(

Plus, these tend to be private things. I mean, in English, we have “honey” as a generic one, but ask any couple that’s been together for a while, and they’ll probably have their own they’ll use more. It might be the same as some other couple, but they will have hit upon the same one usually for different reasons, not because it’s the one we use in English. For example, maybe one Grounder will refer to their significant other as their non-non (means “tasty”), but if they did, I wouldn’t add it to the lexicon, because it’s a private usage, not one that’s likely to have any impact on the language as a whole, nami?

So for yourself, I encourage you to be creative and use something you think sounds good! If you’re using it, then it’s right if it feels right to you. :)
