i think james would be ok w taking care of people that don't need long term care like terminal illness that would kill someone like w mary but he would perhaps find taking care of someone and it doing something for them cathartic, as it would make him feel the opposite of what happened unfortunately w mary...i think he would love to take care of someone enough to where they heal or they're better in some way, therefore saving them and feeling useful and not helpless and impotent at the situation...anyway, yeah, just some interesting thoughts i've had about james...
