So after Melli appeared as a ghost, while they were waiting for Agony, Vera, Penny and Volo needed to do something about him. Penny said she can't let him stay in her house, because her parents would absolutely kill her for summoning a ghost of her (a lot of grand)father. Agony is not here yet, so she can't take him too, so the only option is Volo. He hates it, but doesn't really have a choice in that; his apartment became a public space because of how many people live/come there on a daily basis.
Then Melli is being teached by our lovable teenagers (Vera and Penny) about pop-culture. They are debating what movie they should show him first, right now Twilight is winning. (Penny also tells her grandgrandgrandpa how she L+ratios people online, he doesn't fully understand what that means, but is proud of her.)
When Agony arrives they look at Melli and say that they know how to do with him. Everyone is hopeful until Agony speaks again. They simply offer Melli to become a Yamask. Nobody really likes the idea. Then Agony says if he doesn't like Yamasks, he can also become a Spiritomb, Sandygast, Drifloon, Gastly, Kadabra, Froslass or Phantump, depending on the way he died. This doesn't help either. Volo just wants him to rest in peace again, Vera and Penny want a cool dead uncle around and Melli himself wants to be alive again (since he's already here). Agony says that he, of course, can possess some corpse like she did, but that doesn't sound exactly pleasing too.
So many people in Volo's apartment, whatever will they do??
OKAY FOR CONTEXT, MELLI IS PENNY’S ANCESTOR IN THIS WORLD, WHICH VERA AND PENNY SUMMONED WITH THE POKEMON VERSION OF A OUIJA BOARD, AS A GHOST
also, Agony is Akari from a timeline that got erased, who came back as a Hisuian Zoroark during PLA, and she’s a little fucked up but we love her anyways. also volo basically adopted vera after the events of PLA plus some extra timeline shenanigans flskjfdkljs
SO MANY PEOPLE IN VOLO’S APARTMENT.... THEY WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS ON ACCIDENT..... MELLI WILL BE ‘FLOONED AND RUN AN INSTAGRAM. WILL IT BE POPULAR?? WHO KNOWS
