I find that as simple as using a different type of notebook, can boost my scribbling productivity.
I bought a notebook with springs at the top, basically a notepad type. And I kept writing, and writing.

Yes, I finished a short story.
I’ve been so out of it the past few days, but I hope to keep myself inspired.
Been so busy the past few days!
Work is waay more hectic than usual. Soo, I’ll have to park The Memory Courier for a bit. But I’ll be posting another one of my stories in parts tomorrow.
Hope you’ll like it. ☺️🌸

***A.Notes: This is the first few paragraphs of a anthology of stories I’m working on, titled ‘The Memory Courier’***
He picked up his silvery blue quill, dipped it in ink, and started writing.
Somewhere between time and space, she walks gracefully, threading boundaries between parallel worlds. Unnerved, she steps through each one, for the purpose of delivering a memory like others similar. Yet she is only one of her kind, the rose amongst the other roses..
‘A new courier in town, so it seems.’
He looked up and saw Dmitri, his longtime friend and owner of the bar, carrying a bottle of chardonnay in his hand.
He chuckled. ‘Yes, it seems so.’
‘I knew it since you asked for the special bottle.’ Dmitiri put the bottle in front of him carefully. ‘But a 1973 Chateau Montelena? I had to pull a lot of unearthly strings to get this out of an auction.’
‘Well, what is the best bar in the world without the finest wines?’
‘You got me there. And I wouldn’t even be having this fine little thing without your request.’ Dmitri opened the wine and poured it on two wine glass with deft hands. He handed one to him. ‘Rather special, isn’t she?’
He smiled. ‘She is.’ The he lifted his glass. ‘To Safina.’
‘To Safina.’
I will definitely post a snippet of one my short stories this week, along with a preview art from my ever supportive bf.

Dear Writers,
Publishing online will make it harder for you to publish traditionally.
Now don’t freak out! This doesn’t mean that publishing your fanfiction will make it impossible for you to become a published author. It DOES mean however, you shouldn’t publish online the very project you want to publish traditionally.
If you legitimately want to publish a novel via the traditional publishing route, be aware that putting it on Wattpad or other sites may not be the way to go. Of course there are cases of Wattpad authors who get book and movie deals. But those usually have a very big online following. Or they don’t finish the work online or delete it. Or go into selfpublishing. It’s a way to do it. But it certainly is not the path of least resistance.
In the industry you can seriously diminish your chances of an agent picking up your work when people can read it online for free. And Wattpad doesn’t have the best rep in some parts of the traditional industry.
You have to imagine how many queries these agents get that start with “I am 13 and 53 people have already read my book on Wattpad!” and proceed to show just very poor quality writing (which, let’s be real, we’ve all been there, no shade towards 13 year olds with hopes and dreams! You’re doing great, sweetie!). Even if that’s not you, the agent will physically recoil the second they read the word “Wattpad”. I know this because this is the exact same reaction I and my colleagues have when checking out new manuscripts at work (for those of you who don’t know, I work at a publishing house).
And your agent doesn’t care how big your wattpad following is unless it’s seriously huge and you have a platform akin to an influencer.
Plus it makes your work more vulnerable for plagiarization.
I’m not saying don’t ever publish online. Do it! Have fun with it. But be aware of these issues if a writing career is your goal.

I always worry that my writing will come to nothing, but then I remember I write the stories I want to read. Therefore, as long as I exist, they could never be nothing.
Yes! I had this mindset the moment I began writing. Mostly I wrote for myself, but then other people might just enjoy it too.
So keep on writing people.
What does it matter if someone says your book isn't good enough? Is that what you're aiming for—an unrealistic goal? To be approved by everyone? Well, let me tell you something, everyone has their own tastes in books. Some people will praise your book, some won't. I hate the Twilight books, but there are also people that love it. Not everyone will love your book, and that's okay, what really matters is that there is at least one person that will love and be affected by your book to an insane degree. Why rob them of that?
You are your own voice indeed.
Coffee - Check!
Before a writer wields their pen, coffee is an absolute prerequisite.
Here we go.
Let me start my journey with this.
