Side note: I stalked your blog girlie and I love your sense of style. Not just the fact that it looks clean, proper and effortlessly chick but also because it SUITS your personality so well. Like once I saw your style, I went “Ah, makes sense”
What advice do you give for people who haven’t found their style yet? Something that truly represents them
Anyways good night / day, wherever you are !! 🖤
Thank you 🥹🩵 this is a very nice message I truly appreciate it
I would say… notice what colours you feel most drawn to / most comfortable wearing. What would you wear if there was no social media and no judgement? Just purely what you liked?
Once you’ve done that then you can find extra inspo from others who may have a similar taste. I like to get inspiration from my favourite models and celebrities with a similar palette of style or who embody the vibe I would like to embody. It’s a lot of trial and error, lots of testing. Maybe you think you’d like something when you see it on someone but when you wear it it just feels so… not you.
I spend a lot of time on Pinterest, A LOT. And there’s all sorts of styles so see which one you feel is most YOU. I save all the ones I like to a board and look back and try recreate them.
What do you like? What are your favourite colours? What are your favourite patterns? Trial with some accessories, are belts your thing, gloves, brooches? Do you enjoy layering or just want to put together simple bits? Experiment with what is in your closet rn, what feels most you?
I think style tells a lot about someone and you can often tell when it’s authentically them or not, fashion is an art.
If I had complete freedom and accessibility to dress exactly how I would like right now, what would I wear?
And so it is 😌 I hope you can find a style you love that represents you perfectly!
And to answer your other ask, yes just an appearance, you seem to chase it because you still think you are human. The chase is ended when you realise there was no one to chase anything in the first place and you already are what you thought you were seeking.
