svpportz. / * poison tipped !!
From the day Rhett had joined Blackwatch, William had known deep within his heart that he should never, ever trust him with any form of superacid he came up with. So it was only natural that he quickly set the syringe down and moved it out of arm’s reach. “I suppose we are,” he replied, peering at him. Despite the air of annoyance he put on for being disturbed, he really didn’t mind. He was family just like everybody else in Venom and he’d take a bullet for him just like everybody else. “I just don’t like being snuck up on when I’m working with limb-amputation-worthy acids.” His tone was a little cold, but he gave Everett a smile nonetheless (however small it may be).
“There is a lot to do, actually- don’t give me that look. Come on.” He crossed his arms over his chest, tapping his fingers against his forearms. “We’ve had this conversation at least four times. There’s no reason for you to borrow anything here when we aren’t working.”
The shift of William’s shoulders was not missed, but Everett stayed seated, instead leaning against the now mostly clear ( mostly safe ) workspace. Tongue tracing the edge of straight, but pointed white teeth, the smirk pulling at his lips has a life of its own - spreading across his features. “Don’t be so DRAMATIC, we have to keep you sharp and on your toes.” The you’re welcome is left unsaid, and Everett wiggles the fingers of his prosthetic. “Let me have the acid, I have one limb less to lose I’m practically the most qualified here.”
“There’s nothing worthwhile to do.” He amends with a sign. “Training, eating, sleeping - it’s like they think we’re just robots to put to sleep when not in use. You need to lighten up Billy, maybe I’m working on having a good time.”
