Herta and Ruan Mei winning a space station raffle for a couple’s vacation trip to the beach but offering it to Ratio because Herta would rather stay and do research while Ruan Mei refuses to go without her. Ratio accepts it because the ocean is basically one gigantic tub.
Ratio stays in the hotel room alone and ignores the added couple activities until he realizes he can’t redeem his much wanted therapeutic spa experience without another person. He tries to reason with the spa staff, but they won’t take logic as an answer.
Aventurine had offhandedly mentioned he was in the area to shoot a beach advertisement before, so Ratio messages Aventurine. He proposes a professional collab where the other joins Ratio in his activities. Ratio just wants to respect his coworkers efforts at winning the trip, but mainly he thinks it would be beneficial for Aventurine to spend time relaxing his body before the shoot.

Firstly, the accessories!
As you might know, most people are right handed and wear their watch on the left hand. Here we can see Aventurine wears his watch on the right hand instead, which by itself doesn't mean much, but considering the rest of the evidence, does seem to add up to him being left-handed by nature (he might have taught himself to do things with the right hand to not stand out too much, but that's a subject for another rant)
You may also notice in that image that while his right hand is weighted with a number of accessories, his left hand is almost bare by comparison, this might indicate that he uses that hand more, so he needs it to be relatively light and unencumbered.
He also wears his dice/card case on his left thigh, within easy access of that hand.
And speaking of easy access!
On his normal attack, you can see that he throws the dice with the left hand and only after snaps his fingers with the right.
His follow up also uses his left-hand to snap his fingers
Finally with his burst he also throws the dice with the left hand. (He also snaps his fingers with his left hand on overworld attack animation, but I couldn't find a good gif so you can go check in-game or look it up lol)
Other details: The prayer to Gaiatra
you can see that while his sister uses her right hand, Kakavasha and Aventurine both use the left hand, this seemingly tiny detail was what really made me start this headcanon, because the contrast is very interesting.
And of course, we have to notice that it is his left hand which shakes and has to be hidden behind his back when he's nervous

it will always be so funny to me how ratio called aventurine's style flashy and distracting and likened him to a peacock when he himself dresses like That. dude did you forget you are also showing off your tits and your waist and your muscular arms and wear unnecessary jewelry. let's maybe take a look in the mirror
