//Well I think that's it for this blog guys. I can't stand what's happened with the show, my Sherlock has basically become completely au because of season three and canonLock has become a giant child. People acknowledge that he's incredibly childish and all of his flaws have been so exaggerated and blown out of proportion I don't even know what to do anymore. I had never intended to abandon this blog and I know it's been a few months since I've been around, but I don't think I'm coming back this time and if I do it will be as an early Sherlock, none of this season three nonsense. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you to all of you. This has been really fun and I hope to see you all soon, if not on this blog then the next. It's been great.

"Alright, where is he now?" Sherlock asked, folding his arms and looking down at her. He thought it was about time he had a chat with this ‘boyfriend’ of hers. He’d once thrown a man out a window for slapping Mrs. Hudson and he was in no way above doing the same for Molly. Nobody deserved to be beaten like this, Molly even less so. 

"I don't know, he never-" Molly gasped, and closed her eyes, her hand flinching towards her abdomen. It did hurt to breathe sometimes, after... "He never tells me. I only see him when I get back after my day shifts, he's always- there-" Molly squeaked, pretty sure she had some internal bruising somewhere near her abdomen. "Please don't look for him, I don't want you to get hurt like that, please, Sherlock, you have to stay out of this," her eyes welled up suddenly. She would have to keep him away. She wasn't sure what Cody would do to him... And her... If he found out Sherlock had been defending her like that.

"Well then, I suppose I need to be waiting for him first. Are you coming or no? It will quite likely be violent." He didn't want her to come.  There was no need for her to see the confrontation. It would likely only make her feel worse and if at all possible he would like to spare her that at least. An abusive relationship was noting to sneeze at.

"I would like to see you try," Sherlock growled fiercely, jamming his fists into his coat pockets, "John and Lestrade would never allow it and I’m sure people would talk if all three of us went missing," there was an interesting sort of tingling feeling in his extremities, adrenalin most likely, but his voice was calm again and his hands had relaxed. "You’re not untouchable either."

"You seem to think that Doctor Watson and the Detective Inspector would rather you kill yourself slowly than have your safety ensured. I can assure you that they would see it my way, dear brother." Mycroft frowned, glaring hard at Sherlock as his brother’s intensity grew and then diminished. He assumed this was the eye of the storm, though, and that his brother’s current calm would be fleeting at most. Mycroft placed a steadying hand on his brother’s shoulder, their proximity still closer than he’d have liked but manageable. "Listen to me, Sherlock, and give up the filthy addiction while you can." While he was still alive, Mycroft didn’t say, but he let the implication hang in the air, heavy and thick.

Sherlock jerked his shoulder away. His usually impassive face twisted into a vicious mask. "No! I won't. I am a grown man Mycroft and I can absolutely kill myself with cocaine if I choose. It's better than constant boredom, the tedium of old age. Cocaine and crime are interesting and that is far better than good health," His tone was scathing enough to make any other man cower from him.

"Well then, I suppose you’ll have to make a stop at the supermarket then." Sherlock huffed, he didn’t really care about groceries. It wasn’t something he ever really took the time to think about. The food was either there or it wasn’t. If it was he might have something, if it wasn’t he didn’t care regardless. Shopping was for people who didn’t have housekeepers and flatmates. "Oh it’s definitely one of the officers. No one else had access to the scene, it’s just a question of which one. There were dozens of people swarming that site. Obviously incompetent, all of them. The police really should know better. The puzzling part is how they know who I am. I’ve been quite careful."

"It’s your coffee." Sally mumbled under her breath. She knew he’d never get the groceries, though. Not in a million years. He was ‘too busy’ for that, as was obvious enough by the way he had spent all afternoon lying on the couch. "Know you? Not sure about that bit. You can find almost anything on the internet these days, though." she said between forkfuls of her pasta. "Why don’t you ask for a list of people who were on the case, then? That could work." Almost completely done with her food now, she offered the plate to Sherlock once more, still trying to get him to eat something. "I’m getting full. You sure you can’t help me finish it off?"

"Yes I'm quite sure. Your pasta," he put a world of scorn into the word, "Has absolutely no appeal to me. I'm fine. This is the most interesting case I've had in weeks and I refuse to be have something as mundane as digestion slow me down." Sherlock exhaled loudly, "Stupid," he muttered. He wasn't calling Sally names, just stating his feelings about the predictability of the situation. "Stop trying to feed me, I'm not a child."
