Plot: You and Vernon have been dating for 2 years. It was the happiest time of your life until recently. For the last couple of days Vernon has changed. He’s being less affectionate and hardly spends any time with you. However, things are about to change.
a/n: This is my first time writing a fanfic so please be kind to me. It’s a bit short. I was testing it out. Hope you all enjoy it.
You sit alone staring the tv in front of you. You’ve been waiting for your boyfriend to return home from practice for the last 2 hours. This has been your routine every night for the last couple months. Dating an idol is hard work. You knew that when you agreed to be Vernon’s girlfriend. Yes Vernon from the popular K-Pop group Seventeen. He’s been at the dance studio late every night rehearsing for their new comeback.
You knew it was going to be hard work/ You just missed the old days. The days where you go for walks in the park while holding hands and whispering how much you loved each other.
Lost in thoughts you didn’t hear the sound of your front door of your apartment open. You had been living with Vernon for almost a year. As Vernon slowly makes his way into the living room he notices you sitting there staring at the blank tv.
Vernon: ‘Is everything okay babe?’
Snapping out of your thoughts you turn your head to see your boyfriend standing by the door way looking at you with a worried expression on his face. You hadn’t realised that tears had been forming and were now rolling down your face. You loved Vernon with all of your heart but you just couldn’t take the lonely nights at home, waiting for him to return. The missed dates and plans due to practice. You missed how it was during the start of your relationship. She easy and lovey dovey. You used to spend every waking hour together just hanging out. But you hardly see him now even though you live in the same house.
y/n: ‘I didn’t hear you come in.’
You look back at Vernon as he is now walking over the sofa and places himself in front of you.
Vernon: ‘What’s wrong y/n? Why are you crying?’
y/n: ‘I can’t do this anymore Vernon. I hate not being able to see you. I hate not cuddling you before we sleep. We hardly spend any time together anymore.
Tears are flooding down your checks as you look at your boyfriend. His sad expression hurt your heart. You didn’t want to make him sad like this but you just couldn’t take it anymore. All the nights crying yourself to sleep waiting for him to come home. You had enough.
Vernon pulls you into a tight hug. Rubbing circles on your back trying to stop you from crying.
Vernon: ‘Babe I promise I will make time for you. I’m sorry I’ve been a shitty boyfriend lately. It’s just been really hectic with the new comeback and making the new album. After this comeback I promise to spend every minute together. Just please don’t leave me. I love you so much. You are my world and I don’t know what I would do without you in my life. Please promise me you won’t leave me’
You had never seen Vernon like this before. His eyes were all puffy from crying. You could see the heartbreak all over his face. It hurt you to see him like this.
You reached up and placed your hand on his check. Caressing it. You looked him in the eyes and placed a kiss on his lips.
y/n: I wont leave you I promise. I love you so much. You’re my everything’
Vernon’s eyes lit up as he planted soft kisses all over your face. He then pulled you in for a tight hug and didn’t let go.
With one last kiss on your forehead you fell asleep to the sound of Vernon’s heartbeat.
